𝑊𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝐸𝑦𝑒𝑠 ~ 𝐴 𝑆𝑎𝑘𝑢𝑎𝑡𝑠𝑢 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 (𝑆𝑘𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐴𝑈)

Tendou and Akaashi both did a quick run through each and then Atsumu said he was gonna do one of his old routines because he was feeling a bit tired today.

"Oh, hey, I think 'Tsum 'Tsum is going! I wanna watch how awesome he is again!" Bokuto said enthusiastically as he ran over to the side of the other rink.

"Wait really? Yeah I wanna see this again." Iwaizumi said, joining him. All the rest of the team agreed excitedly and lined up at the side of the rink.

"Oh, come on Cuz, let's go watch Atsumu!" Komori said to Sakusa. Atsumu got ready in the center of the rink but looked over when he heard the cheers of the hockey team.

He smiled shyly and waved to Sakusa who was at the end of the line. Everyone on the team looked at Sakusa, amazed at what they saw. He gave Atsumu a small smile and waved back. Their jaws dropped at their usually cold teammate being soft. But when the music started they all looked back at the ice, surprised.

(Hiya Boos! I highly recommend listening to Shine a Little Light by the Black Keys while reading this part of the story. That's the song I imagined Atsumu to be skating too and it creates a different reading experience if you are able to listen to it. You can find it on youtube or other music platforms. The lyrics make sense when reading Osamu's story)

Instead of the normal, pretty orchestral music, they heard a cool electric guitar solo playing with a steady beat. Atsumu opened his eyes and started his routine. He normally would go with very connected, flowy choreography but this was all different. He leaped and landed hard on the ice, creating percussion with his skates, purposely making his movements more harsh and jarring. The hockey players and skaters looked on in amazement.

Atsumu looked pretty damn badass.

"Ah, so he's doing this one again." Osamu said, chuckling at his brother.

"What's so special about this routine?" Iwaizumi asked him, not taking his eyes off the rink where Atsumu was still skating. The whole hockey team listened as Osamu explained.

"Atsumu was dating a girl a couple years ago and she broke up with him because apparently he was too boring and repetitive. He was super upset because he really liked her but soon he just became pissed because whenever he dated someone they never stuck around long and it was always them ending things so Tsumu was just fed up. He came up with this choreo in one night and performed it perfectly the next day. When he performed this the first time he was so ticked off that I thought he was gonna break the ice because of how hard he was stompin' on it. Anyway, that's why he doesn't bother dating people anymore." Osamu said, but then he smiled.

"But it looks like he's better now."

The team looked as Atsumu pounded his skates into the ground with a huge grin on his face. The whole routine, Atsumu was smirking to himself. As the music ended he skidded into his end pose and held it for a moment before plopping down on the ice in a huffing heap.

Osamu looked concerned and skated onto the rink towards his brother, Sakusa following him. From the other side of the rink, Oikawa and Tendou rushed over with Atsumu's water bottle.

"Oi, what's wrong?" Osamu asked him as he skidded to a halt and kneeled down next to the blond who was sitting on the ice, breathing heavily.

"Well, I didn't get much sleep last... last night and I forgot to eat... eat breakfast this morning and I guess I got a bit... a bit too into the routine." he said, huffing between his words.

"I told you to not overwork yourself today 'Tsumu!" Sakusa said with concern in his voice. He was kneeling next to Osamu. Oikawa and Tendou arrived a second later.

"Hey 'Tsumu, drink some water. Your electrolytes are low." said Oikawa, handing him his blue water bottle with little onigiri all over it.

"Guy's I'm fine, just a bit light headed. I went a little harder than I meant to I guess." Atsumu said, chuckling. He stood up and wobbled a bit, clutching onto Sakusa who was nearest to him. The black haired male quickly wrapped an arm around the shorter's waist to steady him.

"Tsumu you need to get home and eat something!" Osamu said angrily, although Atsumu knew it was just because he was worried about him.

"And promise me you'll rest yourself properly today. I'm talking a nap and a full night's sleep." Sakusa said, slowly skating with Atsumu to the edge of the rink, Osamu nodding along with Sakusa's words. Oikawa and Tendou had gone to get Atsumu's bag and the rest of his stuff.

"Okay Omi, I promise." he said. Oikawa and Tendou came back with his stuff and gave Atsumu a hug each.

"Hey, eat a good meal and text us okay?" Oikawa said nervously.

"Yeah, let us know how you feel later!" Tendou stated. Atsumu nodded and hugged them both again.

"I'll see you two tomorrow!" he called out to them as he started to walk away, but then suddenly remembered something.

"Oh, Omi! Thank ya again! For everything!" he said. Sakusa just smiled and nodded as Atsumu walked out of the Arena with his twin by his side.

Hiya Boos! Sorry this chapter was a bit shorter, I'm at my family's lake house this week.

Anyway, I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter but I hope you guys enjoyed it and I hope you liked the addition of the song that Atsumu skated too. It's one of my favorites and I hope y'all liked it too.
