𝑊𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝐸𝑦𝑒𝑠 ~ 𝐴 𝑆𝑎𝑘𝑢𝑎𝑡𝑠𝑢 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 (𝑆𝑘𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐴𝑈)

"Y'all are so immature I can't." Atsumu said, hiding his face in his hands.

    "Okay fine, but like," Oikawa and Tendou stopped and both placed a hand on Atsumu's shoulders.

"Tsumu, we love you. We care about you a lot." Oikawa said.

    "Yeah. Which is why we don't want you lying to yourself. Tsumu, if you really like him, be honest with yourself. For us." Tendou said.

    "I-" Atsumu thought about it.

Really thought about it. He thought about how Omi made him smile when he was at his saddest. How he listened to him in the middle of the night. How he managed to calm him down when he was panicking. How Omi cared about his health and his sleeping schedule. How he made him feel safe, and happy, and like he can be himself and talk to him whenever. Did he... did he love Omi? Atsumu looked at his two best friends with wide eyes.

    "How- How did you guys know you... you were in love." he asked in a serious tone. Tendou and Oikawa looked at him in surprise.

    "You... you think you're in love?" Oikawa questioned. Atsumu just shrugged, looking slightly shaken up. "Well I- I knew I was in love with Iwa when he supported me and loved me even when I felt like I wasn't enough." Oikawa said.

    "Yeah, I knew I loved Toshi when he stood up for me when everyone said I was too scary looking to ever be a figure skater. They said I was a monster but he always insisted I was pretty." Tendou added. Atsumu shook his head in disbelief.

    "You guys, I think... oh god. I don't even know." Atsumu said, running his hands through his hair.

    "EEE ATSU, DO YOU LOVE HIM?" Oikawa squealed loudly.

    "OH MY GOD SHUT UP KAWA." Atsumu said in a harsh whisper. They talked more about it as they warmed up.

    "You two should totally get together! He definitely likes you!" Tendou exclaimed as warmups ended.

    "What!? No! Omi... Omi doesn't like me like that." Atsumu said, looking a little sad.

Oikawa and Tendou just exchanged knowing looks. They got together with the group and ran a couple drills, working on outside spins and cleaning up crossovers.

They decided that everyone would run their routines and have the others critique. Everyone took their turn, and did really well. It was Kenma's turn and as he took his place in the ice, he turned to find Kuroo watching him from the sidelines.

    "Oi, aren't you supposed to be practicing right now you lazy bum?" Kenma called over.

    "Yeah, but technically I still have 5 minuets until people start to get really worried about what I'm doing in the bathroom." Kuroo joked.

The shorter male just smiled and rolled his eyes. The music started and Kenma started twirling around the ice, his thin frame moving easily in perfect circles. Kuroo watched as if he had never seen anything so flawless or stunning before.

As Kenma made a sharp turn right in front of where Kuroo was standing, Atsumu spotted him smile cheekily at him, making the taller boy turn red and grin stupidity.

When Kenma finally skidded to a halt in his ending pose, Kuroo yelled and cheered as loud as he could.

    "WOO YEAH! THAT'S MY BOYFRIEND. HE'S SO HOT!" Kuroo called out, wolf whistling.

Kenma just blushed furiously and covered his face in his hands making Kuroo laugh.

    "I'll see you after practice Ken!" he called out to the boy on the ice before heading back to his rink. The skaters clapped as Kenma came back to the bench, still red in the face.

    "Okay, you guys are actually so cute together." Yahaba spoke up.

All the others agreed wholeheartedly, nodding their heads.

    "Yeah, but he's the reason we're cute." Kenma mumbled and everyone immediately broke out into 'aww's.

    "I didn't know Kuroo had the power to make you so soft. I think it's sweet." Atsumu said, making Kenma scrunch his nose.

After a couple more people had gone, only Atsumu and Hinata were left. It was getting noisy because the hockey players had finished practice and were gathering their stuff and starting to come over to the edge of the rink to watch.

    "You can go first, Hinata-kun!" Atsumu said.

    "Okay!" Hinata made his way to the center of the rink and started his routine. It was relatively simple but he made it look really challenging and graceful because of how high he got his leaps.

He flew at least 7 or 8 more inches off the ice than the other skaters, drawing people in as he leaped around the rink. When he was done he was breathing heavily and his cheeks were pink but he was smiling.

He immediately looked over to where Kageyama was standing and watching.

    "Did you see how high I got?! Didja see Kags!" he asked excitedly. Kageyama just nodded, smiling at the orange haired boy.

    "That was pretty sick Sho, it looks amazing." he replied. Hinata just grinned and skated back to the bench.

Finally it was Atsumu's turn and by now, the whole hockey team was lined up to watch. He groaned a little, not wanting to always be the center of attention. He skated to his starting spot, locking eyes with the black haired male who was watching from the side. He nodded and shrugged, and Atsumu knew what he meant.

He was going to give it a try.

Atsumu nodded back to him and smiled determinedly. He started skating, letting the music wash over him. Performing the regular part of the routine wasn't the hard part.

As the music picked up pace, so did he. The blond made his strides shorter and faster, spinning more and landing his leaps faster. When he made his way to the very end of the rink he made eye contact with Sakusa and they both nodded.

Atsumu started skating, fasting and faster. Not letting himself falter, he pushed himself as hard as he could off the ice and flung his body backwards, praying he wouldn't land on his head. He heard gasps and shouts from the skaters and hockey players.

Time seemed to move in slow motion... until it didn't. Atsumu felt his back hit the ice hard, knocking the breath out of him. He skidded for a few feet and then lay still on his back, gasping for air.

    "TSUMU!"

    "ATSU!" he heard his brother and Omi call out.

Atsumu just continued to lay there, his back getting wetter and wetter with the cold ice pressing into him, staring at the celine breathing deeply.

    "Ah shit."
