"Now you've stepped too far my dear," Aro held out his hand as if he was right there in front of me. "She's one of us now there is no need for her to go with you," Edward stepped behind me. "Ah yes," Aro let out a feathery sigh ," but she was made by us so she is our responsibility to welcome her into this world." I clenched my jaw at the threat that lies beneath. Alice took one step forward and the guards positioned themselves to react until Aro lifted a hand. "Yes," he looked at Alice like she was his world. I knew Alice was at a loss the moment my mind seemed to open. I could hear the many possibilities flashing through her head to get us out of this. I could hear Aros every possible comeback to what she might say. Most of all I could hear the possession of the vampire behind me. "May I make a deal, " I suggested, stepping in Aros direction, Edward shifted with me like we were glued. Aro went to reply to tell me I basically had no choice. "I'll give you the information you desperately need," I looked Aro in the eyes, "but I also want protection of everyone associated with the Cullen's and the Cullen's included." I could hear and see the greed. "I don't need you now that Edward is here," Aro pointed out, rather unlike him. He clearly wasn't playing with his own rules being so close to what he wanted. "And you will come up against a wall like you have with me," I smile showing off my new teeth ," you see Aro what I am offering is my abilities in exchange for what I ask." Aro held out his hand to me once more however this time he looked more infatuated with my willingness. Something I outright refused him from the start. Stealing myself I crossed over to him moving with swiftness I never possessed. Instead of touching his hand I took a page out of Renesmee's book. Touching his cheek to show him so he couldn't try and take information from me yet. To let him into the secret I already knew I possessed. Something I realized in that car. "A mimic ," he seemed to sing with delight. "I want two years with the Cullens before returning here to work under you but then I want time off between, " I pushed the information in his head forgetting that Edward could hear it too. His hiss was cut off by Alice talking sense into him through her own head. " One Year," Aro said aloud. Not bothering to hide it now I straightened my back squaring my shoulders. "Two years to learn under Alice," never had I sounded so sure, " you'll never know what I might pick up an mimic when I come back." Desire raw and unfiltered ran though Aros mind at the positives. It was like tempting a hungry lion with fresh prey. Jane caught on and tried to persuade her master but was silenced by a hand as Aro went over the deal in his head. "The Cullen's and everyone associated with the Cullens will be safe ," I started again ," Everyone." I closed my eyes as Aro agreed for the rest to hear, to bear witness. To know I soon would join them after I gave up what I knew. The very thing I had endured the change for. My shoulders dropped in defeat as I took his hand that seemed to tremble in anticipation. Dropping my mental shield for him to collect what he wanted. Aros eyes flashed to Edward at the realization he was now a single father.

I didn't like the deal one bit, but neither I or Alice could come up with anything better. Alice gritted her teeth when she realized (Y/n) was offering herself to Aro for what we longed for. Her shoulders slump in defeat as she let her walls open. I saw through Aros mind and hers. My body locking in place as information overloaded me. (Y/n)s likes , dislikes, her dreams hopes, every thought or conversation she'd had. I flinched at a familiar face recognizing Bella's young form and the way she'd looked before we had married. Then I saw the reason she had held back and the reason they'd changed her. A spy for the Volturi , a fucking spy. (Y/n) refused to tell them about Renesmee until now. The echo of her taking all information from him seemed to slip by Aro. Unable to help myself dazed I staggered back only to catch myself. Alice looked at me from the corner of her eye having a million questions in her eyes. The moment (Y/n) let go of Aros hand her walls went back up. I could no longer look into her head. " The child was included in the agreement," her soothing vampiric voice stated as calm as could be. "Yes," Aro nods and stepped aside gesturing for his guards to do the same. Clearing the way for the car to pass through. "Two years starting the moment you reach the Cullens house," Aro agreed ," I'll keep in touch." (Y/n) turned to us and motioned for me to get in the driver's seat. My lips set in a tight line as I got into the car. (Y/n) climbed on Alice's lap since there was no back seat. I started the car forward slowly watching Aro look through the glass at (Y/n) longingly. Before I knew it I was speeding down the street. Even the familiar joy of a fast car thrilling through my veins wasn't enough to tamper down the sheer rage. A familiar sensation filled the car. The calming effect had my teeth grinding together. It was her, was it her who fueled my lust the other times?
