Trust no kings

Kings put girls in towers

Trust your wings

For girls with wings

Will soar past kings

As kings watch up from towers

( You Pov )

When I came back to myself I was grooming my bloody furr. Edward made another noise of warning that he was going towards me. My ears flatten and I bare my teeth. If he thought I'd let him near me he was fucking insane. Kill my baby will you? I snapped at him when he didn't stop. He didn't stop still making my hackles rise. Edward placed hand slowly on my belly, rubbing it. Still I tried to take a nip to warn him but he dodged it. He continued to rub my pregnant belly,"Do you really think I'd hurt the baby?" I huffed a bit since he didn't seem to listen to my warnings. " If I was after the baby I would have done something when you were going through an immortal version of shock," he pointed out. I relaxed a bit listening to the facts. "There we go," he crooned, " we should get you back to wash up, you made a bit of a mess." I shifted back not caring that I was now in the woods naked. Edward's eyes got wide in surprise that turned into excitement. He ran his hand over my now slightly rounded pregnant immortal belly. It seemed as if my immortal body just needed to catch up. Has shifting been the key to help make room for the baby? This has been the longest I've been shifted in a while. I rub my belly melting just a bit feeling the baby move from inside. He was right though even shifting I was covered in drying blood. "I don't have any clothes," I pointed out. He took off his shirt tilting his head just a bit as he dressed me in it. I bite my lip lust surging with my new view. It wasn't till he stood straight again did I notice he'd buttoned shirt for me. I couldn't help my chuckle, " I look ridiculous." "You baby doll looks tempting, " his gaze was heated. My cheeks tingle with the need for blood there but I knew I'd never blush again. "What will we do," I look to him," we cant run." "We'll work it out," his gaze softened while he stroked my cheek.

I dare not say it outloud however I was starting to get impatient with the Cullens. What I'd do to get a mimic within our family. I closed the book I wasn't even paying attention to. Looking around I found myself with the rarity of being alone. My brother Caius was no doubt with his wife. What rather bothered me was my dear brother Marcus was nowhere to be found. I get up waving fourth one of the guards. "Where is Marcus, " her nervous newborn eyes flicker away at my question. This one one of the rare ones Marcus himself had decided to change over himself. I hold up my hand to take hers. Slowly as if she was still human she placed her hand in my own. I close my eyes, taking in most of what I've known before. However there was a new thread to the story. Looking into her eyes I open my mouth. This, she would be my key to my brother, a temporary back up. "I think it's about time you went to feed young one," I gently touched her chin. Watching as her new born body started to burn with thirst. "Go find Demetri," I inform her ," have him take you to the feeding chamber this next round." "Yes master," she spoke through nearly frozen lips. Following what I saw from her head I found my dear brother Marcus. I should have known he would be there. He was kneeling in his private garden. In the center he'd placed the few ashes of Didyme, having used them to help plant a tree. A beautiful cherry tree stood tall and proud. The tree seemed to have an everbloom. Never being stripped of its leaves. New petals always took the place of the ones that had fallen. "Brother," I spoke softly. "Don't Aro," his voice was so faint not even a human could hear it. Even with Chelsea's influence I could feel my brother slipping through my fingers. The need for (Y/n) the mimic seemed even more important. She would be able to recreate what Didyme did for him. She'd also help Chelsea's influence. A mimic would be priceless here. Able to defend and protect but to help keep our position of power. "How can I not worry about you," I spoke gently. Gliding beside him I gently brush my fingers over his hand that he held out for me. I close my eyes at the waves of pain my brother normally tampered down. Here underneath her tree however he let himself feel all his loss and sadness. 'I just wish to be alone right now brother,'his thoughts came through. It was on the tip of my tongue to ask about the newborn. 'You have my word I won't do anything drastic, ' he looked up to me ,' leave me be for the rest of the day brother it's all I ask of you.' I nod, dropping his hand. "You know where I'll be," I told him before leaving him to his grief. Jane fell into step just a step behind me. "Take a group and negotiate for her to come a bit sooner," I told her without looking at her ," offer whatever she wants." "Is she that important to you," I heard the acid in her tone. I stopped and turned to her. "Beloved Jane, " I cup her face between my hands ," how are we to keep our family safe if there is a stronger force that poses Bella's human gift." Jane's eyes fell, remembering as I did. " Who knows what she's picked up in this time," I tap her chin making her look at me ," this is as much for us as it is for you." "Yes master, " Jane spoke in a soft tone. "Now go," I took a step back. Without another word she left to make a group.
