"Lucifer!" Adrenalin and panic were pumping through my veins as my eyes burned and I could see the singed hole on his shirt as he laid there with his eyes wide open. "No, no, no. Please, no!"

I jolted when Lucifer suddenly shot up while gasping. He looked confused and stunned, and that was when I realized there wasn't any blood. With furrowed brows, Lucifer reached into his shirt and pulled out a crushed bullet.

  "I'm okay."

"You're okay." Dan sounded shocked, and I turned on him with a vicious look on my face.

"What the Hell are you doing?!" I yelled before snatching the gun from his hands and nearly slamming it down on the counter.

"What the Hell am I doing? What the Hell are you doing? He's the Devil, and you've known about it all this time?!"

"I've never hidden my devil-ness from anyone." Lucifer piped up.

  "How'd you even find out?"

"I saw him that night." Dan waved his hand. "With Amenadiel and Charlie. I came back, and I saw his....his freaking scary-ass red face."

"Well, I'm not particularly fond of your face either, Daniel, but you don't see me trying to kill you."

"How am I the bad guy here, huh? I'm trying to save you, I'm trying to save Chloe, my daughter, I'm trying to save the world!"

"You're trying to save the world from the man who steals your pudding? That doesn't exactly sound like world-ending evil to me, Dan."

  "He's the Devil!"

"And Amenadiel is an angel. Do you really think he'd let the Devil around his infant son if he was as bad as the world makes him out to be? You know Lucifer better than that." There was a gunshot from behind us, making Dan jolt. Looking back, I saw Lucifer holding Dan's gun to his side.

"Huh. Yep, invulnerable." Lucifer was laughing and pulled out the bullet as I took the gun from him.

"This is crazy!" Dan threw up his hand and turned to go to the elevator. "It's crazy! You're all-You're all crazy!" He yelled.

  "Where are you going?"

"I'm not gonna go shoot somebody else if that's what you're worried about, okay? I just need to get the Hell away from him!"

"I should text Chloe." I sighed while pulling out my phone. "Maybe she can talk to him." Looking up at Lucifer, I stared at the singed hole on his chest for a few seconds. "Is there even a mark?"

"I don't know." He unbuttoned the top buttons of his shirt to look at his chest. "Ha! Nothing!"

"How is that even possible? Just....out of nowhere."

  "I think you were right."

"I'm so glad you're okay." I sighed with relief and touched his chest. "Wow, it's not even red. Even point blank on your side?"

"Are you just trying to get me to take my shirt off?" Lucifer smirked.

"Dan just tried to kill you, so I'm not exactly in the mood, Lucifer."

"It's totally too fast. Or am I crazy?" Ella asked while holding up a key as she sat on the counter by the coffee pot.

"You said things were going well, though."

"I did. Is there such a thing as 'too well'?" She waved her hands before sliding to the floor. "Okay. Last night, right? We go out to dinner. Candles, wine. Pete takes my hand, he stares into my eyes...." Ella gently grabbed my hand. "and he says, 'I love....meatloaf.' And I mean, sure, meatloaf, absolutely delish, okay? But I don't think that's what he meant, Misha. I think I am the meatloaf. Me."
