life was finally coming on track after a long while as Audrey was getting over everything that had happened with Ray and moving on with her life. but there was this fear in her that now he had used her, he may fire her from his company but surprisingly he didn't.
what did she knew that the man whom she hated the most, who used women for his whims and fancies was in love with a woman who was happily married with two kids and living a fulfilled life. he couldn't believe himself. he would go home and look himself in the mirror. he had to get over her because falling in love wasn't his thing. this love would spoil his image in the corporate world. so he called up a woman he used to know, but the minute he brought he home to the bedroom he just couldn't do it. she kept seducing him but he just couldn't do it. he felt so restricted. he could feel her aura everywhere in the place. he could feel her shouting, crying and being upset with him. he just couldn't do it for the first time he felt as if he was betraying someone. he felt as if he went through this he would be answerable to her. when in real there was nothing between them but he was making up all in his mind. he was becoming insecure of her. this feeling was very much evident as one evening when she was standing waiting for the cab all alone and a man was teasing her he rescued her. maybe he was trying to impress her or trying to change her perspective she had for him but she didn't bothered. she thanked him as she was being polite.
when she ignored him like this, that evening he held her firm and tight just like her used and said "listen i know you and me are nothing but i rescued you okay so be thankful to me cause you better not forget that i am still your boss and you are my employee. you work for me babe."
she freed herself and answered him "we are nothing? we were never anything okay now i would have handled it i didn't need your help your no better than him." and walked away.
he felt abandoned as she walked away from him. he could almost feel his heart breaking. that night he couldn't sleep, her words were haunting him all night. he could hear her clear and loud. he tried taking pills but nothing worked. this voice was demanding and dominating him to change, forcing him to change.
