STONED

Chapter Seven

the marriage was over and this was the beginning of a new life, a new sun was shining in Audrey's and Chris's life. both were so happy, she rested  in her arms and said to him "it all seems so surreal" he replied "its all real love, you are mine forever." 

now that it had been a week since she moved to New York. she had left behind her job and her old life but not for once she felt upset in leaving Detroit because there she was all alone amongst the stranger. here she was among the people who loved her the most, and most of  all she was with Chris the man for whom she could give up her life. she knew getting a new job was going to be diffcult, this meant that she actually had to start from the bottom but she was okay with it as long as she had her family by her side. 

since all these she had been the most hardworking employee so her boss had recommended her to the most respected company in New York the very famous STONE INC. when she came to New York she actually forgot about her job and everything. she was actually enjoying the non-working lifestyle. she was getting up early and making breakfast and then doing all her household chores. this was new to her but she was enjoying it.  a month ago she was girl who would never even step near a kitchen but now she was doing it  all and the only sane reason behind this was her being in love. she was so in love with him. 

and one noon when she was sitting in the living room, her phone rang, unknown number but she picked it up anyways. she answered it, the voice that replied was that of a man. he sounded stern, authoritative and said to her "hi Miss Audrey i am Raymond Stone of the Stone Inc. your boss recommended your name for a sales executive in my company. i am scheduling you for your interview on the 7th at 11 in the morning. hope to see you there. have a nice day." 

and before she could say anything he hung up on her. she felt strange but the great thing that she was called for an interview in non- other than the STONE INC. one of the highest grossing companies in the corporate world. she could only wish if she had known what she was getting into....
