Chapter Twenty One

she was ashamed of herself as she walked out of his office. she reached home. she just straight to her room. she wanted to be alone. Chris came home early and said "get ready i am taking you out now don't ask anything, don't say anything i know i have messed up but lets just get away and have fun okay now get ready and be quick." she wanted to say something but in front of his excitement her mere sadness didn't stand a chance and she got ready to go out with him. 

they dined at the finest restaurant the city had. but there also she couldn't remain happy, not even for a few moments as dining at the very same place was her boss Ray. he saw her dining with her husband, smiling and having a good time. he couldn't bare her having a nice time with someone else. h got up and walked up to her "hey Audrey i didn't know that you came to dine here. what a coincidence."

she was astonished, she looked up to him and just smiled, she smiled through her pain. he was talking to her husband and she could see that conniving look in his eyes and then he left for his table. she was disgusted meanwhile Chris kept on praising him. she could only wish if he knew. 

they came home. he said to her "i hope you had a good time tonight?"

she said "i had a wonderful time." 

he said "listen i never want to hide anything from you. why would i you are my best friend before anything else and i love you  so sorry."

she said "hey come on you don't have to apologize for it. i am sure you had your own reason for it. i have faith in you and i love you, and will always love you."

he held her closely to his body and said "so what do you say we take this love upstairs and have fun with it huh" he took her upstairs and laid her on the bed. he was kissing her and she was wildly into it in a strange way taking in mind what happened later that day. she closed her eyes as she didn't wanted to see Ray's face when she was with him. the reason why she was so into it is that she wanted to take her frustration out in way of sex. she wanted to let it all go but she couldn't. after a while she just surrendered.
