Chapter Twenty Two

all through the night she had been on a guilt trip. she couldn't sleep, when Chris feel asleep she lef the room and went into the bathroom. she stood under the shower and turned it on. the water kept dripping all over ashamed body. she was broken for sure as she had given herself in the hands of a devil who was now controlling her life. she wanted to get out of this deal she made at the crossroads of life but she knew she couldn't. this was the favour in return for what he was doing for her. maybe she wanted to wash her sins or his very touch from her body.  she wanted to rest but every time she closed her eyes Ray's face would haunt her. when she was done, she came out changed into dry clothes and laid right next to Chris. she wanted to wake him up and tell him everything that happened to her but she was banded. her lips were sealed even though she tried her best she couldn't utter a single word.  

she was just caught up in this unending web, she felt so helpless and hopeless now that she had given herself in the hands of another man. she had betrayed the love her life for his happiness. she had given her love away. she was ashamed of everything that happened. she fetl possessed by some strange demons. she wish she could get out of it. sadly it was too little, too late
