it was the happiest day in Audrey's life, for the first time she had felt so complete and loved. it has been years since she last saw Chris and in her heart she had always desired to marry him but when she was ready to confess it was too little and too late- he had already proposed to his girlfriend Becky and she wished him good for his future life. he was married and had two kids- a boy of about seventeen and a girl of about ten and now he was in her life. she had kissed him on meeting him after so many years, this was the first time she ever kissed a boy. she was blessed, internally blessed. for her everything that happened a day before was surreal. this was the night to be remembered for all the years to come.

they went on dates to get to know each other on a more mature level. Chris would always narrate stories about his children and how he wished that the young boy Robbie would understand him  but he knew that he was in that stage in his life where their is  a riff between the kids and parents. and it was more difficult for him to cope up with Robbie as he was single and most of the times didn't know how to handle various situations. he was lost , so lost but in these dates he find his youth back, his life back somehow he was able to cope with the loss of his wife. but meeting Audrey was not only a good luck for her but also for him.

and one night without thinking about anything, he took Audrey to a fancy restaurant. it had been just few weeks since they met after a long time and going on frequent dates but he was ready to do it. she was looking beautiful as usual,, he brought the finest and most expensive wine bottle. after they had dessert he suddenly went down to his knee and popped the question "i know we have only known each other for a few weeks now but you know that how much we love each other i mean we are perfect for each other. so will you marry me and change my life forever?"

she wiped the tears from her face and said "yes" he slipped the ring in her finger. with this step he had moved on from his dreadful and painful past, and well she, she was finally in love and accepted. everything was a dream to her. this was the day they realized the magic of being in love.
