Chapter Eleven

the next day as planned she was insisted to have her lunch with her seniors. she was a bit uneasy at first since she was the only female to have been called to have lunch with them. she confirmed around ten times before she went inside the room, and there they were. the big men having lunch . she entered in and Ray pulled a chair for her. she sat down and was uneasy the whole time. 

the men were eating and talking business which was going over her mind. she was just cluelessly staring at them, it was like a strange tennis match. Ray could easily sense her uneasyiness, she was just feeling strange all the time.  she wasn't part of their conversation and felt like she didn't exsit during the whole course. that half hour was a killer for her. she was getting bored  and fianlly Ray merged her in the conversation "so miss Audrey i hope you are having fun at your new job, i hope no complains yet?"

she nodded "its all been good, i am having fun." 

he began asking her about her personal life "you know you are such a talented beautiful person, you must have a boy friend ." this was his way of asking if she was available or not.. she said "no, actually i don't...."  she paused for a moment, he felt happy but this happiness was short lived as she continued "...i am married." as she showed her engagement ring.
