days were going by, but for her time had stopped and she was struck in this one phase. she wanted to get out of this rut so bad but she was compelled not too. her brains wasn't working right. her nights were becoming sleepless. she would wake up in the middle of the night and shower in the cold water. one night Robbie caught her wet walking around the kitchen. she was shivering and didn't had the strength to even stand straight. she was about to fall on the floor when he rushed to her and held her.

he was calling out her name, as she was practically fainting in his arms "Mom! Mom!" but she didn't replied. everyone was asleep and she kept mumbling "don't tell anyone about it." he took her to his room and laid her down on the bed. he turned the hearter on, he tucked her inside the wamr bedsheets. after two hours her body temperature became normal. she was asleep but her health still looked unstable. the whole night Robbie sat beside her bed. the next morning when she was up, she found him sleeping on the floor.

she woke him up "Robbie what are you doing down?"

he said "you should not be up, you need rest Mom, last night you were burning with fever."

she wasn't aware of the fact that she had been sick all this time "no way what are you saying i am perfectly fine Robbie you better get ready i know you have your mid terms this week and i am aware how much you study."

he said "Mom why would i lie to you. last ngiht you were buring with fever it hink yuo hsould a day off."

she said "Robbie i know you are not lying but everytime i am sick i cannot take a day off i have to go to work but please don't tell this to your dad, he'll get tensed on no good reason."

she was being so normal about it, smiling through her pain which is ever growing. she was making breakfast, kissing Chris goodbye and then dropping the kids to school. Robbie couldn't understand what was going on with her. he was being suspicious of her. there was no way she was fine....something was up with her and Robbie was up to find it out.
