Chapter Thirty

Robbie was confused. he couldn't understand what was wrong with his mother. she was acting so weird lately. he had to find out what was wrong with her. now that Chris got his job back, she shouldn't be so worried and tensed all the time. her medical condition wasn't stable but she was so normal about it like nothing had happened.  

that day she was picking up the kids from school and then she had to do some work in the office before going  home. this was the only chance Robbie had to find out what was going on with Mom. as she went in her office, she took them in too. she said to Robbie "okay i just have some work okay take care of your sister. i'll be back in around fifteen minutes if you want to have anything go down, take a left and there is the cafeteria, don't wonder around and do me a favor stay at one place."

he calmed her down and said "Mom relax i'll take care of everything don't worry. you go finish your work and then we can go all go home."

she said as she saw Ray walk by "the sooner the better." only Robbie heard her. seeing her with her kids, Ray couldn't help but come to them, greet them and make a good impression among them. he said "oh my God is that little Michelle oh! she is so cute my my my  she is a beauty Audrey." Audrey had to be polite as this was her boss. she rushed to the conference to collect some files,Michelle was left with Ray as Robbie went inside her cabin to look around for somethings that might be the reason for her unstable condition. he found many crumbled paper in the dustbin which had only one thing scribbled on them "i have to do it, i can't turn away from this."  he said to himself "what can be the meaning of this? what she had to do ?" this all seemed like a big unsolvable puzzle. he came out of the cabin and went down to the car as Mom had told him. she would bring Michelle with her. when she came out, she saw Michelle with Ray, she went inside his cabin and held her daughter. 

she said to him "don't come after my family what more can you want?" 

he stood up from his chair, held her close and said "is this the way you talk tome? huh! do you want me to show it front of your kids i can do that!" 

she apologized and walked out from his cabin she forgot Robbie had seen everything that happened inside. he didn't reacted to it as he could see the look on his mother's face. he just walked down with her and sat in the car. the car ride home was silent but she spoke a million words.
