After Remy received his scarf, he conveniently left. Now the story continues.

Jerry swiftly closed the door behind him, while letting out an exhausted sigh. However, he didn't notice Lucy's scary glowing laser eyes staring at him from the peep hole.

**knock knock**

"Hey yo is this Jerry?"

"UHHHHHHHHHH yessir?"

"Yo I have some VITAL information that you need to know. Come out here so I can tell you this vital information that is vital to know y'know?"

This all seemed rather strange as to why Remy's cat friend would want to talk to him, since he has never really met Lucy before. An introduction at least could've helped.

"Alright here's the deal," Lucy said, "I think moto moto likes you."

Jerry visibly gagged upon hearing that.

"That is SUCH an old meme, shut up you're not funny, I just want to die now that you said that." Jerry scooted away from Lucy ever so slightly, about a few inches at most.

"Damn sorry didn't mean to absolutely offend you by referencing a 2019 meme, what I meant to say was I think Remy totally likes you."

Jerry flinched back, his face was full of blush. He couldn't believe his dinner-plate-satellite-sized-lookin-ass ears. Literally, it sounded like a lie to him.

"Remy? Nawwww dawg do you actually think he'd fall for a mouse when he's a rat? Such a pairing could never happen, ahaha ... it's... forbidden."

"Naw man I'm telling you, he's totally gay for you, every time I mention your name he gets all flustered up and in denial that he thinks about you. Also I gotta say his blushing is rather loud for someone who isn't outrageously in love or horny or something-"

"STOPSTOPSTOP PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME HOPE !!!" Jerry was tugging at Lucy's fur, begging her to stop saying such nonsense.

"Remy does like you, but he don't know that yet. Don't worry. I, the All-Knowing One, will make sure the ship is totally canon. It has to be, or else this fanfiction will be false advertising, as you guys are destined to conclude this story."

"What the fuck are you talking about, this isn't a fanfic??? Or... is it?"

"Anyways, Remy definitely likes you, I wouldn't lie about that."

"How do you know, I mean, if he doesn't even know yet then how would you know?"

"Dude, he's super obvious about it, maybe not as much as you, but anyways, this conversation's kinda going in circles. So, I have decided that I, Lucy, will help you confess to Remy."

"R-really?" Jerry stuttered, incredulous.

"Yeah, here's the plan..."
