Lucy caught up to Remy, who was on his way back to Linguini's place. She noticed he was walking rather slowly, focused on the yellow scarf he was holding.

"So how'd it go, lover boy?"

Remy jolted up, probably startled by Lucy's sudden appearance.

"W... What are you talking about? We were just guys being dudes, just homies! What, do you think I'm gay or something?" Remy talked back in an annoyed tone.

"Whaaaat I thought you were gay tho 😩" Her face turned into the Weary Emoji upon hearing that.

"Huh?? No, of course not... I'm attracted to girls."

Lucy, with a skeptical look on her face, leaned closer to Remy for further questioning.

"Okkkk, but like, have you ever even dated a girl before?"

"Well, no, but I've read about it! I'd say I am very well versed in what dating would look like, and I can say that I think I am attracted to girls-"

Remy turned his head slightly so as to not expose his embarrassment.

"Well uh, OH MY would you look at that time ! *taps on wrist with nonexistent watch* I really have to get going, can't make Linguini wait any longer! I gotta show him how to make, uh, casserole, I mean I literally taught him how to cook haha... " Remy said, flustered, running off very speedily.

"Fucking gay ass loser," Lucy muttered to herself, watching Remy run off into the distance, "very gayly," she might add.

Upon arriving back at home sweet home, he just went straight to his room. He had so much to process from that day.

He set the scarf down on his little table, next to the tissues and the lotion. His thoughts were racing in without order, chaos ensued in his brain.

Remy tries to recall moments in the past and suddenly, it becomes increasingly obvious to him that perhaps, he was indeed attracted to gu- wait no of course not lolololol hahahahaha... right?

Remy was circling his room at this point without his awareness of him doing so. His eyes were darting around very erratically. His pace was ever so slightly picking up as more thoughts were occuring.

Lucy's been right about so many other things in the past, so is she right about this as well?

He took a moment to stop and looked at the cheese scarf.
