Chapter 33: Will you?

THIRD PERSON

Seulgi, Joy, Wendy and Dahyun got startled in their sleep when footsteps and the screeching sound of a wheel echoed on the floor. When they noticed it was their Captain's bed, they all stood up and take a step beside Lisa, who still had an oxygen mask on.

The four of them didn't go home yet as they all agreed to stay here all night until they're allowed to see their Captain. Luckily Jiwon and Jin-goo went back here to give them food to eat before they went back home.

"I'm going to call Jiwon," Wendy said as she stays behind her team while they continue to push Lisa's bed inside her room.

Once it was settled, Namjoon, who was assigned to observe Lisa explains to them that it may be in an hour or so, Lisa might wake up, and he asked one of them to call him if she does. After a minute, Namjoon excuses himself to the group before heading out. Finally, the Mighta team can now relax their bodies and minds after what happened.

They remove their black uniforms revealing their white t-shirt and black cargo pants because it's too much to wear inside a hospital.

"I hope Captain is going to be just fine when she wakes up," Dahyun, who was sitting beside Lisa's bed, said loudly, and the rest of the team look at their youngest member.

"Of course, Captain will be fine. She's our Captain remember, Dubu? That's why you shouldn't worry too much. Besides, she has already been through a lot of surgeries in the past. I think she's used to it already," Joy said, half-joking and Wendy look at her with a shocked expression, then she glances back at Dahyun, whose eyes starts to glisten with tears.

"W-wae? Dubu, I'm just kidding...I-I thought it would make you feel at ease when I said that, I-I'm sorry," Joy explains, but she heard a sob coming from Dahyun, so she got alarmed.

"Unnie...help me," Joy said with a hushed voice, referring to the other two older soldiers present in the room, but that soldiers are not helping the situation at all because they start laughing silently while hiding their faces using the objects around them, Seulgi was hiding through the curtains while Wendy used the flower vase beside the table.

"Aish, stop laughing," Joy said with a frown, and so they laugh even more. It's really hard to laugh silently, especially in a serious situation.

"What if Captain will forget about us once she opens her eyes? Captain won't remember our bond together, and it scares me," Dahyun said between her sobs. So Wendy and Seulgi laugh even more but this time without hiding their faces, but still trying not to laugh out loud.

"Dubu, Captain didn't hurt her head or something, so getting an amnesia isn't possible to happen in her case," Joy stated while rubbing her temple, glaring at the two soldiers who was now wiping the tears that escape in their eyes because of too much laughing.

"But still, there's a possibility," Dahyun said, wiping her stained face in the back of her hand.

Seulgi then stood up from where she was sitting as she takes a deep breath just to hide the smile that tries to escape on her lips again.

"Okay, that's enough overthinking, Dubu. Come on, let's get you some coffee," Seulgi said as she carefully pulls up Dahnyun from her seat, leading them to the door to buy coffee outside, leaving Joy and Wendy behind... then when they locked eyes, they immediately burst into laughter again.

"Dubu is such an innocent child. I just can't," Joy said while Wendy just laughs at her.

"I know, right," Wendy replied, and eventually, their laughter died down, then the room got silent.
