"It's okay, I'm fine, Captain Manoban,"

what? How did she-

I quickly look at the owner of that voice and she looks familiar to me, like really familiar.

"Oh, are you the new soldier who's also be joining us here in our deployment?" I ask her instead because I'm still not sure why she looks so familiar to me.

"Ne, majseubnida (Yes, that's correct)" she replied then she stands in attention.

"Dang-yeol, Lance Corporal Jeon Somi- imnida." she stated her rank and her name while giving me her salute.

Somi? Wait, Oh my gosh, the blueish girl!

My eyes got wide when I realized it's the blueish girl we've met in Seoul, she's the thief we shot with toy guns that injured her but we treated her after, so I was not expecting this to happen.

"Daebak, are you really the Somi we've met in Seoul? I almost didn't recognize you because you changed your hair colour," I was really shocked to see her here.

"Yes Captain, I'm Somi, but not the same Somi you've met in Seoul, she's a changed girl now, she learned her mistakes and promised herself to follow the rules and became a good person," Somi said with a smile on her face. I'm proud and happy that she managed to change her life.

Seulgi on the other hand, came back with her plate full of foods already, and when she stood beside me, her eyes got wide because she noticed the girl standing in front of us.

"Sergeant Kang, Annyeonghaseyo (Hi) I'm glad to finally meet you here...as a changed person," Somi added as she bows at Seulgi who's still looking at her with a shocked expression then she quickly regains her self as she clears her throat.

"Ah, Ne, Somi-sshi," Seulgi replied disregarding their position, I wanted to laugh at how she addressed the girl because she's not sure what to say.

When Somi stood up straight again, she smiled warmly towards Seulgi.

"So, Somi, when did you join the army?" I ask her and motioned her to follow me as I start choosing foods to eat. Somi bowed at Seulgi who handed her a plate and a spoon, I smiled at the gesture.

"My dad helped me to enlist, he was shocked when I called him to say that I'm going to enlist myself because that's the last thing he would imagine me doing," she said as I put some side dish on her plate and she bowed slightly.

"Why did you decided to enlist all of a sudden?"

"The reason? Well, it's simply because of you guys."

When she said that, I pause then look at her with raised eyebrows, then to Seulgi who's standing to her other side with the same expression as me.

"What do you mean?" I ask, then we settle ourselves on a space of the long table with a long seat.

"You guys gave me a chance to become a better version of myself so I did.  Seulgi unnie told that being here in the army can help me do that because that's what happened to her which I didn't regret doing for myself."

"Surrounded by orders and rules to follow makes me feel like I was guided into a well-mannered system, and you're right it helps me a lot," Somi said and we both smiled at her, Seulgi was sitting in front of me and Somi.

"Well, first of all, we're so proud of you and thank you for trusting what Seulgi had told you, you really changed a lot, like a lot better," I look at Somi who's smiling widely while looking at us then we start eating our food.
