"So, where do you think Luther could be?" Diego asked as they got into the car and pulled out of the gravel driveway. "Maybe he went out to some bar somewhere?" Klaus suggested. The Hargreeves siblings looked at each other, confused. "Luther doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would want to get messed up. Why would he be at a bar?" Number Two questioned.

"Well, the poor guy has been through a lot. I don't blame him if he's at a bar right this very minute," Klaus leaned back in his seat, his head hitting the leather cushioning behind him. Five drove the car through the city, and they checked every bar, hoping that Luther was in one of them. "Alright, this is the last one. Let's hope he's in here otherwise, we're screwed," Dusk sighed as they stood outside. They walked in and instantly saw Luther sitting at one of the wooden tables.

He slammed his glass of liquor down, trying to get himself wasted once again. "Trying a little hair of the dog, are we?" Klaus asked as he stood across the table from him. "Leave me alone," Luther mumbled as he was about to take another sip. "You three, give us a minute. I'll try to talk to him," Diego whispered. "Okay. Come on. Maybe they'll brood each other to death," Five, Klaus, and Dusk stood near the pool table, hoping that Diego could convince their brother to come with them and help find Allison.

As they watched this conversation, only hearing brief parts of it, Dusk couldn't stop looking over at Klaus and giving a small smile. Occasionally, he would smile back at her before going back to listening to Diego and Luther's conversation. "You want to turn your back on us, that's fine. But Allison deserves better than that," The vigilante said, sounding sympathetic. "Allison? What are you talking about?" Luther questioned. "We got ahold of Harold Jenkins' police file. It turns out Vanya's boyfriend is a convicted murderer. Who could've seen that coming? A little hard to trust anyone who wears corduroy,"

"Wait, so where's Allison now?" Luther asked again, sounding desperate. "She decided to go after Harold Jenkins. Alone," Diego answered. "Well, you should've led with that!" Luther stood up from his seat and climbed into the car, his siblings following close behind. "Where is she?" Luther asked as Five turned the ignition. "She's probably at his grandmother's house. That's the only other place of residence he could be at," Diego explained.

"Downside is that it's about an hour out from the city," Dusk added. Diego looked at her, silently asking her why she had to bring that fact to light. "What? I'm just saying!" She rolled her eyes. Five pulled out of the parking spot, and slowly they but surely made their way to the cabin, hoping that Allison wouldn't get herself hurt. Nightfall had come, and they were getting closer and closer to the cabin. "Hey, can you go any faster?" Luther asked as Five made a turn. "Ask me again, and I'll burn you with a cigarette lighter," he bit back.

Number One sat back in his seat. The look on his face was both desperate but also annoyed. Once they reached the tiny cabin, they ran up the wooden stairs of the porch, calling out Allison's name as they made their way inside. To their horror, they saw their sister lying in a pool of blood. Her neck was bleeding profusely, and her eyes were bulging out of her head. "Allison! No!" Luther gasped, pulling her into his arms. "Oh god, Alli!" Dusk sobbed as she bent down next to Luther and hugged her side.

Luther started sobbing as he told her to stay awake and that they were going to get her help. "We need to get her back to the academy. Mom can fix her up," Diego said, trying not to panic. Dusk pulled away from Allison, sniffling as she wiped her tears away. "He's right. We got to go. Can someone get a towel?" She asked. Klaus quickly ran towards the bathroom, coming back with a few white towels. Carefully, the ape-man and raven placed it over the bleeding, gaping slit, and he carried Allison back into the car, laying her across Dusk, Diego, and his laps as Five quickly started the car.

Dusk held her sister's hand, lightly squeezing it as Luther continued to assure her that everything was going to be okay. "How's she doing back there?" Klaus asked. "Her pulse is getting weak!" Luther responded, still looking at his love. "Five, are we almost there yet?" Dusk questioned, trying to stay calm, not only for Luther but also for Allison. "I'm going as fast as I can, Dusk! But we're about fifteen minutes out!" he responded as he looked through the rearview mirror.

"Come on! Let's go!' Five said, opening the front gates as they pulled to the side of the road near The Academy. Luther and Klaus carried Allison inside, quickly setting her down on the gurney as Dusk got Grace. The siblings gathered around, watching as Grace inspected their sister's wound, hopeful that she would survive. "She's suffered a severe laceration to her larynx. One of you will need to give blood," Grace answered, looking at all of them as Five held the wound closed.

Everyone started volunteering at once, but unfortunately for Luther and Klaus, they could not give up their blood because of the alterations. "Here, I'll do it," Diego volunteered, standing next to Grace. She pulled out a large sterile needle, making his eyes roll to the back of his head, and fall flat on the floor. Pogo watched this unfold, nodding to Grace and telling her to stick him. "Alright, we've got this covered. The rest of you guys get out of here," Luther shakily sighed.

Dusk wanted to protest, but from the look of pain on his face, she knew it was not the time nor the place to put up a fight. Reluctantly, she, Klaus, and Pogo walked out of the room.
