Back at the Academy, Dusk grimaced in pain as Klaus handed her an ice pack for her injured head. "You okay?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's not the first time I've smacked my head on the dash," Dusk nodded. "The world's ending in three days," Luther said, getting everybody's attention. Their eyes widened except for Luther and Klaus. "Three days?" Allison asked as she handed everyone a cup of coffee.

"You know, The old bastard did mention the apocalypse, come to think of it. He just left out the part about how soon," Klaus spoke up. "Wait a minute, you knew about this? And you didn't tell us about it till now?" Dusk asked with irritation in her voice. "Can we trust him? I don't know if you've noticed, but Five's-" "Our little psycho!" Klaus finished before sipping his coffee. "He was pretty convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him,"

"That's why they were after him?" Diego asked. "Yeah. Five said that we all fought together against whoever was responsible," "Wait a minute, what happened the first time around?" Luther began to zone out as Five's words repeated themselves inside his head. I found you, your bodies. You all die horribly. "We died," Luther mumbled. "What was that?" Dusk asked, slightly raising an eyebrow. "I said we died," He spoke up. The moment he said that, one of the umbrellas unexpectedly opened, making Dusk and Klaus shriek like banshees.

"Christ on a cracker!" Dusk sighed with relief. "Is it just us?" Allison asked as the siblings gathered around the bar, coffees still in hand. "It's everybody," Luther answered. "In the house?" Diego asked, hoping for some clarification. "No, it's outside the house. Everyone died,"

The siblings were soon interrupted by a voice suddenly calling out to them. They turned around to see that Vanya was back, a young man probably in his late 20s was accompanying her. "What's going on?" She asked. "Um, it's a family matter," Allison answered. "A family matter. So you couldn't bother to include me," Vanya scoffed. The raven looked over at her sister with pity. Vanya's eyes slightly shifted over to hers, and she reconnected her gaze with the rest of her siblings.

"It's not like that, Vanya. We were-" Before Luther could finish his sentence, Vanya and this strange man started walking towards the front door, but Dusk caught up to them before they could walk out. "I'll fill you in later when we have a moment alone," She whispered, hoping that Vanya would understand. "Please don't bother, Dusky. And I won't either," Vanya sighed. "That's not fair," Number Eight said, trying to grab her hand, but Vanya quickly moved it away.

"Fair? There's nothing fair about being your sister. I have been left out of everything for as long as I can remember. And I used to think it was Dad's fault, but he's dead. So it turns out you're the assholes," She huffed, brushing past her and walking out. "Vanya!" Dusk shouted as her sister walked through the rain. "I'm going to go find Vanya and explain," she sighed as she went back to the others. "No, wait, there isn't time. We need to figure out what causes the apocalypse," Luther protested.

"Hold on. Hold the phone. We all died fighting this thing the first time around. Remember?" Klaus interrupted. "Klaus shockingly, has a point. What gives us a win this time?" Diego nodded. Luther then mentioned Five, saying that they weren't altogether and that this time they would have the full force of the Umbrella Academy. Out of the corner of Dusk's eye, she could see Klaus staggering towards a nearby sofa, his body was shaking, and his hand was over his mouth like he was going to throw up at any given moment.

"Are you okay?" She whispered as he sat down. "Y-yeah," He trembled, laying his head on her shoulder. "You sure? You don't look so great," she whispered. "What makes you say that? I feel great," He denied as he stood up. Dusk began to grow tired of Luther and Diego's arguing as they argued about him going to avenge Patch. As she and Klaus walked out of the room, Luther called out their names, making them turn around.

"You two are giving up on the world too?" He asked, slightly stunned. "Yeah, I can't deal with you guys right now. Not when you're like this," Dusk answered. "So that's it. You're cool with us all dying in three days?" Without saying another word, the two slightly nodded before they walked out of the room, heading upstairs to their rooms.

A little while later, Dusk sat on her bed, propping herself on the stack of pillows as she wrote down some song lyrics. The raven kept her gaze on the moving pen, desperate to finish the lyrics while they were still fresh in her mind. A knock came from her bedroom door, and she looked up to see Klaus holding a large amount of blue rope. "Do you mind tying me up?" He asked. "Uh, come again?"

"You know, last time I was sober was that roaring good time when those freaks had me tied up in the motel room," Klaus said, making the girl even more confused. She wasn't sure if he was trying to be kinky or just being his awkward self. "Uh, I'm still confused," she gulped. "Why? You're the one who's always like, "Klaus, you need to get sober, bro." Oh, he's trying to get sober! Why couldn't he be clear from the get-go?

"I need someone to take away my options. And you're the only one I trust," Klaus said, stepping out of the doorway and standing a few feet away from her. "Okay. If it gets you to stop doing drugs, I'll do it," Dusk nodded. "Thank you," Klaus said as they walked out of the room and headed up to the attic.

A wooden chair stood in the center of the dark and dusty room. Dusk looked around, feeling a shiver run down her spine. "I hate this room," She muttered to herself, hoping that Klaus wouldn't say anything. "Oh, it got me high enough. I picked it clean of anything of value after Daddy kicked the bucket," the junkie sat in the chair, instructing the girl to keep tightening the rope, and as this continued, she increasingly became concerned about this sobriety option.

"If I see a boner, you can have Diego do the rest," She clarified before going any further. "So, end of the world, and you want to get sober all of a sudden. I'm surprised. I thought you'd pop every pill on the planet," "Oh, the thought did cross my mind, believe me, songbird. But there's something I need to do, and the whole pesky thing doesn't seem to work unless I'm sober," Klaus explained.

"Is this is about conjuring the one you lost? What was her name?" Dusk asked, trying to sound like she was fine. "His name was Dave. We soldiered together in the A Shau Valley in the Mountain of the Crouching Beast," Dusk's eyes widened with surprise. Sure, Klaus could be hyper and strung out on drugs. But the thought that he would like guys never crossed her mind. "Wow, Dave must've been a special person to you," She smiled.

Klaus continued talking about this Dave, and part of Dusk was happy for him, but the other part was hurt that he thought Dave was the only person who understood him. Dave's not the only one who loved him. I love him too. "Alright, that should do it. If you need me, I'll be in my room, so just holler, okay?" Dusk hugged him softly before walking towards the ladder. "Oh, shit!" Klaus said, making her head whip around to look at him.

"I need to pee!"
