Dusk sat on her bed, curled into a ball as she hoped that wherever Klaus was, he was okay. She tried to push away the thought of someone taking him and prayed that he was in some alleyway, high out of his mind. But it wasn't just that that clouded her mind, the fact that she was forced to admit her crush on him to her siblings, repeated in her mind like a broken record.

Why else do I care about him? Because I love him! I can't help but imagine kissing him the way we did when we were 15.

Fifteen years earlier...

It was the second anniversary of Ben's death, and even though Dusk wasn't as close to him as she was to Vanya and Klaus, she still cared about him. She laid on her bed, sobbing into the sheets as the memory of the day he died replayed inside her head. None of the Hargreeves siblings remembered exactly what happened, but all they remembered was hearing the words, "Guys... he's gone,"

Klaus heard her sobs from across the hall and walked over to her closed door, listening to her anguished cries. He gently knocked on the door, instantly quieting the sobs, and causing her to get out of bed and open the door. She was surprised to see Klaus was there but invited him inside. "You know what today is, right?" She asked. "Yeah," he nodded, looking over to see the teenage ghost of Ben watching the two of them.

"I wish we could've done something to help him, maybe then he w-would b-b-be-" Dusk burst into tears once more, and Klaus wrapped his arms around her, letting her cry into his chest. "It's okay to cry. I'm right here," He whispered, inhaling the fruity scent of her hair. "Dad doesn't even care. No tribute, no moment of silence, nothing! He's such a dick!" She muffled. Klaus pulled out of the embrace and lifted Dusk's chin till they were eye to eye with each other. "I miss him too, Dusk. But we did everything we could. That's the best we can do,"

He wiped away the tears that were falling down her face, gently resting his forehead against hers. His breath lightly caressed her face, and she couldn't help but smile and glance down at his pinkish lips. Slowly, the two leaned in closer until they were about an inch away. Without hesitation, Klaus closed the gap between them and crashed his lips onto hers. The raven's hands flew to his shoulders, in shock by what was happening. And as she sank into the kiss, their lips began to move in sync.

After a moment, they slowly pulled apart, their faces instantly turned bright red. "T-that was different," He smiled. "Y-yeah, but I liked it,"

Klaus was still tied to the wooden chair inside the motel room, trying to escape, but with every move he made, it seemed that the ties that bound his wrists to the arms kept digging into his skin, getting closer and closer to cutting his wrists. All of a sudden, he heard the sounds of someone talking, but instead of English, it was in Russian. He looked over to see the ghost of a woman looking out the window, chanting something to herself. From a distance, he saw a bullet wound to her head, making it even more disturbing.

"It must be starting now, isn't it? Otherwise, who's the dead babushka?" Ben asked, looking over at the woman himself. "I don't know, but it's driving me crazy. The bitch won't shut up!" Klaus growled, looking over at the woman with anger and annoyance. "Hey! Watch your mouth. And what did I say about eyes front?" Hazel said, glancing behind him as Klaus continued to look over at the window.

"Stay calm, Klaus," Ben said, trying to prevent his brother from getting himself killed. Meanwhile, Hazel and Cha-Cha continued their conversation, trying to figure out how to get information about Number Five out of their hostage. "Take his coat," Cha-Cha ordered. Hazel walked over to Klaus's coat, and he started to rummage through the pockets, hoping that something in there would get him to talk.

"Hey! Be careful with that. That's my asthma medication!" Klaus lied, trying to stop his drugs from getting destroyed, but it didn't work. The two assassins had found their hostage's weak spot and started to smash the drugs into itty bitty pieces. "Stop! Please, listen. I can get you cash. Amputee hookers, whatever," Klaus said, trying to reason with his captures. Hazel took something else from Klaus's coat and started to tear open the wrapping off one of Klaus's special chocolate bars. Despite the torture, he had to hold back a laugh as Hazel and Cha-Cha ate a few pieces from it.

"You gonna tell him that it's special chocolate?" Ben asked. "Not until they're high as kites," Klaus whispered. "This could all be yours for the low, low price of telling us everything," Cha-Cha teased, dangling the bar of chocolate over his head, baiting him. After realizing all of his drugs were gone, He finally gave in. "I don't know where Five is. I wasn't lying about that. But I can tell you that he's hasn't been making much sense since he came back," Klaus started.

"Elaborate," Hazel said. "He's been sitting in this van in front of a lab or something and looking for the owner of an eyeball. One of those fake ones," Klaus continued. As Hazel was about to interrupt him again, Cha-Cha asked Klaus to elaborate on the eyeball and its importance. "He said it had something to do with the end of times,"

Hazel and Cha-Cha looked at one another, having an idea about what lab the junkie was talking about. "We need to get going," Cha-Cha said. "Wait, what about him?" Hazel said, stopping her in her tracks. "Right. Put him in the closet. I'll meet you in the car," she said, opening the hotel room door and walking out as Hazel picked up Klaus's chair and put him in the paneled closet, big enough to hide him. "Don't you dare try to escape," Hazel growled at him before closing the doors and meeting up with his colleague, leaving Klaus alone in the motel room.
