~It was a red tricycle he road, there were rows of flowers all around the path he took. Innocent pure youthful laughters escaped from the child's lips. He was waiting for his dad to come home for lunch, if he wasn't right on time he would throw a fit and start crying. Luckily for both him and his mother, he was on time this day. His mother pushed the back of the red tricycle everyday at the exact same time, down the path of their porch. He would pick the flowers along the way. Then his dad would appear to scoop him in his arms as he flung the giggling toddler into the air.  Such a peaceful time in his youth, it held such great emotions and meaning. Everything was perfect. ~ This was the reoccurring dream Beomgyu found himself having.

~~

Beomgyu spent his morning getting ready, making sure the streaks of his hair looked just right as the strands curved over his eyes and the back snugged smoothly around his neck. His hair took the longest to do in the morning. He put on his dark jeans that wrapped around his legs, and a black T-shirt that hung just past his waist. Along with that he put on a his cozy warm jacket that felt like a soft hug as the wind was harsh and the sky was gray from the crisp weather. He ran his bony long fingers through his hair once, tugging his bottom lip in-between his teeth feeling himself in the mirror as a little confidence booster before he would have to head off to the dreaded place know as school.

Actually, scratch that, it wasn't all that bad. No in fact there was one thing good about it. The boy that sits way off on the opposite side of the room, a boy he's never spoken too but has only got a glimpses of his face once and the rest of the time was just staring at the back of his head.

He too had dark silk like hair with very soft high lights that made his hair pop and shine. It was cut in a way where it laid over the shaved back giving it a tough edgy look. However the boy himself looked soft. Almost that of a child. His lips were tinted a rosy pinky purple that formed into a plump natural pout. He had big doe eyes that looked as if they were nearly on the break of tears, yet something about that look seemed so appealing as if it was Beomgyus job to reach out and protect him. Let's not get ahead of our selfs though, that's just how his appearance was. It's not like he ever talked to him, or ever would, he's anxiety and shyness was way to overwhelming for that, it was almost guaranteed he would slip up on his own tongue and end up just bitting it. Not to mention this boy was like him, in a way that was extremely quiet. He's been going to this school half a year now and hasn't even heard him speak a single word. Beomgyu didn't really mind that though, he liked how their relationship was, which was him just sending him small glances from his spot in the back. He was just fine going unnoticed. At least that's what he thought. He didn't know that was all about to change from a signal small encounter as if it were fait, but once again, let's not get to ahead of are selfs.

"Shit I'm late." He hissed once his watch started beeping singling it was time for him to stop founding over himself and get his ass to school. He ran outside waving his arms back and forth at the bus that was nearly about to leave him behind if he was a second away. He took in a deep breath and gripped onto the straps of his bag, closing his eyes for only a split second before taking that first step onto the bus. It would still be as nerve wrecking as the first time.

He didn't mind looking between the seats as he knew where his spot was and it would never change. He slowly sat down and finally looked his head up out the window that was coated in fog. With that he let out another breath and let it fade into a smile. "Here we go."

~~~
Beomgyu walked into the class room where everything was the same, even his slight crush Yeonjun sitting in the same spot, not ever daring to look up from the book he kept writing in. Beomgyu could only imagine what was written in it, maybe it's some type a fanfic? He giggled at the thought knowing that probably wasn't it. He took one more seat in his own desk at the back, pulling out the homework from the night before done and ready. The teacher came around collect all the papers and he couldn't help but hear the conversation she was having with the student he kept his eye on.
"Where's your home work Mr. Choi?" Beomgyu quickly glanced his eyes down and tried to shut his ears off as he found it wrong to ease drop, but somehow it didn't work for long. For what ever reason anything that has Yeonjuns name or had something to do with Yeonjun has been becoming more and more interesting. Was it possible? Was he finally going to hear how his voice sounded, after all he had to respond to the teacher.
But sadly no, still not a word but rather a painful slinces as he stared up at her with that sad expression written all over his face. Eventually she gave up and moved on, excepting the fait of no response.
Beomgyu sighed at this out come, feeling overwhelmed with disappointment, but oh well, what else was there to do or even expect from the quiet and mysterious Choi Yeonjun.
~~
"Beomgyu!!! Come sit over here what are you doing?" He heard a loud cheery voice calling out to him from across the cafeteria. He laughed as he shook his head walking over to his best friend. That made two things that made school worth while, the other being Choi Soobin. "What we're you doing looking all lost and confused? You know where our table is." Soobin chuckled smacking his back with his heavy hands. Beomgyu just smiled it off and shrugged. "I don't know, just lost in my head for a moment." He said truthfully, taking a seat next to him. He was looking around the cafeteria to see if  Yeonjun was anywhere to be spotted but he didn't notice him and gave up pretty fast, now he just put his focus on to Soobin and the food that sat on a plastic tray in front of him.
~~
Time went on and the days were the same, nothing being out of the ordinary. He still glanced to his crush from time to time everyday but that's all and as it continued the glances became less and less till he stopped paying attention to him once and for all. He didn't notice that much, it's just kinda like he got bored and realized he'd never be noticed so there was no point. There was no point in the energy put into the smallest of glances his way.
But that was just about to change.-
"Crap late again!" He bolted out of bed after realizing he had snoozed his alarm one too many times. This made him have messily gotten ready and chase down the bus that was leaving him behind. "Wait! Wait up!!" He hollered waving his arms around trying to catch the drives attention, but it was no use, that old chipped yellow bus was long gone. Way before he had a chance to get on.
He sighed and let his shoulders fall, his body snuck with them. Well maybe he could just stay home today, after all his mom was away in rehab for her drinking problem, and his dad was always in and out of town with his work. This just so happened to be one of those times where he was in fact out of town. It's not like he ever answers his phone either. Beomgyu huffed and blew at his bangs debating what to do. But for some odd reason there was something calling him to go to school that day. That's never happened before I mean for gods sake it's school. It was just that gut feeling letting him know he needed to be there.
And so he marched. One foot at a time walking to the school building that was miles off.
