When Beomgyu came out of his room it was already dark. He had no text from either Soobin or Yeonjun but honestly he didn't want to speak to either one of them at that time. He trialed his fingers along the walls of his house till he saw his dad. He was on the phone yelling at someone but he didn't know who it was. It was highly likely his mom but he was to scared to ask in fear it would bother him. And so he stood behind the wall with his head down listening and waiting. "Are you serious? He's you're fucking Son and this is killing him. You said you were coming home to surprise him this weekend, so why the hell are you just now telling me you're staying another two weeks? You know how much he misses you as his mom."
He heard how his dads pitched changed from high to low as he spoke to his mother on the phone. He had a problem with yelling at her and for a long time this bothered Beomgyu but he soon started taking his dads side as he got older and realized all the hell she has put him through. Why was drugs and alcohol so much more important to her then her own husband and son?
His dad must of noticed him standing there because he quickly hung up the phone and softened his voice as he called Beomgyu to come out and so hesitantly he did.
"I'm sorry you had to hear that." His dad spoke seeing the boys lowered head. He wanted to stay strong for his dad but he just couldn't. Upon hearing his dads broken voice, the longing absence of his mother, and the tragedy Yeonjun was putting him through, he just broke. He fell right into his dad arms crying in his chest. Yes this was super awkward and embarrassing to him but he couldn't help it. He needed someone's comfort and his dad was the only one around to give it.
"I'm sorry kiddo, it's going to be okay." His dad whispered to him as he held him tightly, rubbing his arm up and down from the embrace. "One day this will all go away and everything will go back to normal, just how it's supposed too." His sentence was broken and sounded as if they were spoken by someone who has lost their mind. But all Beomgyu could do was agree and listen, applying that thinking to his own world.
Beomgyu still couldn't tell him the main reason this break down was because of Yeonjun. Even if he wanted too he couldn't speak. He was just grateful to have one of his parents be loving to him.

The next day he road the bus. It was Friday but Yeonjun wasn't here to pick him up and honestly Beomgyu wasn't expecting him too seeing as they didn't even call last night.
That also ended up sending him into another panic episode alone in his room. This caused him to get very little sleep and so the purple bags under his eyes weighed them down, making him look sick. He ran his fingers through his hair, then sat in the back with his hood on, and plugged his head phones in. He listened to the music that Yeonjun played him when they first road together. The melody was so soft it either made you feel very happy and in love, or nothing but sadness and regret depending the mood you where in. And we'll, I bet you can guess which of the two Beomgyu had felt when he listened.
He sat still, staring at the window. The clouds blocked out any form of sunlight but it hasn't rained yet so maybe there was still hope for him.
Beomgyu got to school and Yeonjun wasn't there. actually most of his classrooms were pretty empty, only a few kids showed up and he didn't know why.
He smiled upon seeing Soobin sitting in the desk by his own. They both gazed at each other as Beomgyu kept his hands in his oversized hoodie pockets. He shrugged his shoulders slightly for no real reason and then took his place next to the boy.
How dare Yeonjun say such awful things about his only friend. To think he was trying to erase the only other person he had in his life. That's was very alarming. Maybe Soobin was right, maybe he needed to get out while he still could.
