"...What the fuck..?"
He cussed at himself when he was far enough away from the house to catch his breath. He stood there with his hands on his knees trying to breath and process what the hell just happened. It was no use, there was no way of comprehending it.
After the whole ordeal went down, Beomgyu had excused himself from the house. Making up some excuse like he wasn't feeling well and wanted to go home. Truth was it wasn't all a lie, he definitely wasn't feeling as well. Yeonjun had offered to walk with him but the boy refused in the politest way possible as a means to get the fuck out.
-"Are you sure you don't want me to walk with you Gyu? It's pretty late and I don't think it's safe for you be out alone when it's this dark." In return the boy forced up a smile while softly patting Yeonjuns cheek. "It's okay love, I'll be fine, I'm not a child after all."
To this Yeonjun let out an innocent giggle and pressed his lips out, indicating he wanted a kiss.
Beomgyu was hesitant at first but he didn't want to seem off in front of the other so he pushed through his nerves on obliged. Kissing him for a shorter amount of time than usual.
"Alright, text me when you're home so I know you're safe." He called as he other skipped down his porch step. To this Beomgyu spun around In his track and nodded proudly with a small wave. "I will, mmh- Bye!" Before any thing else could be said, he was out of there. Once he knew he was out of Yeonjuns line of sight his legs took off running on their own. Heart rate increasingly growing as he relived the event over and over countless of times. He felt so chocked up by it. ~
He shivered as he walked, wrapping his coat tightly around him. After awhile of mindless wondering in the dark he decided to text Soobin, asking him to come get him. His friend had his own car and so of course he agreed. Beomgyu didn't feel like going home, he didn't want to be left alone with only his thoughts that would be far from comforting.
He sat there for some time, under the dust of the street light. He was curled up with his knees touching his chest, slowly blowing on his hands as a means to heat them up. The air was so cold it dried any tears that wanted to escape before Soobin got there.
He still felt like crying was an exaggeration, after all Yeonjun was far from mean, in fact he was quite comforting. It was just the stress he felt from trying to determine if he should believe him or not.
Rather if he should trust Yeonjuns words in his memory being extremely faulty, or Yeonjun lying to him for some strange, currently unknown reason. Both options were equally terrifying and disheartening. He let his mind get the best of him once again, but his anxiety was always in control.
Moments after, a familiar black car pulled up next to him and Soobin rushed out to be there to bring him comfort. "What happened are you okay?" He asked with nothing but worry, bending to his level. Yet he still kept his voice soft. That question made Beomgyu feel all the emotions again. His bottom lip stuck out and started to quiver feeling the heat come back up into his eyes. "No.." He managed to get out but after that he couldn't talk anymore.
Soobin felt his own heart sink as he wrapped himself around Beomgyus body. "Aww it's okay." He said quietly while rocking him in his arms. Soobin was so cold, his eyes were turning red and he lost feeling in his fingers. But that was the least of his concerns right now. In that moment all he carried about was Beomgyu, and making sure he was safe. Making sure he was warm over himself.
"Come on, let's get you in the car." He used all his strength to scoop the boy up in his arms and place him in the seat. The poor kid was crying so hard that it paralyzed him.
