Dandelions | Yeongyu

  The tension at the skate park never died down as the three other boys felt nothing but panic as they hurried to help Beomgyu who laid unconscious.  Soobin was also on the ground in pretty bad shape but Yeonjun could careless about him. Still though with the last bit of Strength Soobin made his way to Beomgyu so he could cradle him in his arms. He pushed his hair back to make sure there were no injuries and luckily enough there was nothing serious. Still he felt like he should go get a check up and be taken to the hospital just in case, but Yeonjun refused, afraid it would get himself in trouble.

Yeonjun felt weaker but over all he didn't have a problem standing and so he pushed Soobin away from Beomgyu and then scooped the boy in his own arms to carry him off.

"Taehyun, can you give us a lift?" He asked as they walked away from the park leaving Soobin behind. He desperately wanted to get up and fight more, fight for the boy who was being carried off, but physically he just couldn't do it and so he laid on his back staring up at the night sky instead. The crispy cold air made his nose and cheeks a light blushed red. He might have lost this time, but he wasn't going to let Yeonjun get away with this. He would fight for him time and time again.

"Yeah man I got you."  Taehyun was quick to move and opened the back door for them. Yeonjun sat with him, letting Beomgyu rest his head on his lap. He kept a serious face the whole ride.

"Yeonjun?" He heard the faint whisper of Beomgyu. He swiftly shot his gaze down and locked their hands, shushing him back to sleep. "Shh it's okay, just go to sleep."

Taehyun would occasionally look back at them through the car mirror. He bit on his lips from nervous as he drove faster than normal in order to get them home.

"You sure y'all are going to be alright?" Taehyun asked as he helped carry Beomgyu to bed. They kept their voices low so they wouldn't wake him.

"Yeah, sorry about all this but thanks for the help." Taehyun nodded and told him to reach out if he needed anything before leaving. Yeonjun loosened his posture and simply stood over the boy before bending on one knee to watch him sleep. "I'm sorry for putting you through all this. I promise things will get better soon, just give me time." He talked to him in his sleep as if he could hear.

He then made sure to spend the rest of the night treating his black eye, head, and anything else he felt he needed. And when Beomgyu would wake, he would talk him through it and easily put him back to sleep.

The two walked out of the bathroom together. Yeonjun had great posture making him look tall and his head was held high while Beomgyu sank and slouched with his own head low, eyes focused on the tile flooring under him. They held hands but it wasn't like before. Yeonjun led the way and Beomgyu dragged behind. That's how it was supposed to be.

Beomgyu did mange to look up once, but it was only for a fleeting split second. He saw Soobin standing at the end of the hall way with disappointment written all over his face. He looked as if he gave up on the fight, as if he gave up on him. Beomgyu didn't say anything, Insted he just put his focus back to his shoes.

They got to the nurses office and Beomgyu didn't question his intentions nor did Yeonjun tell them. "Just a check up." He spoke for the one who grew mute.

She smiled at them and sat Beomgyu on the bed before examining everything. After a few minutes she concluded that nothing was wrong and they were free to leave which filled Yeonjun with relief. His body was no longer tense as he let out a deep exhale.  However Beomgyu did not feel the same, actually he didn't feel anything. He couldn't feel even if he wanted, but maybe it was for the better this way. It was easier to obey orders if he couldn't feel towards them.
