Chapter 6: it's Friday again

After three really exhausting days at school, you luckily made it to Friday afternoon without killing yourself.

The team practices on Monday and also on Thursday, so you watched them play again yesterday. While you were watching them, you gave the opportunity to become a manager another thought. You really liked Naomi's company and you also really wanted to learn more about volleyball. You even did your own research on the sport when you had a little bit of free time.

You also didn't forget to call Valerie yesterday, to tell her about the whole thing. Valerie also said that you should become a manager.

After you left the gym yesterday, Naomi talked about the issue with the team. Naomi told them she struggled with doing things on her own, so she asked the team if they would be okay with a second manager. While the members happily agreed, she gave Semi a slight nod to let him know she wouldn't 'expose' him.

You decided to wait a little while before you let Naomi know what you've chosen to do.
Now, you had to focus on what you were going to wear to the party tonight.

"I know a store where they sell the perfect clothes for a night out!", Aya yells while dragging the rest of you into the mall.

You found it kind of weird. Naomi seems like a person who loves to buy clothes or go to parties, but ever since you guys sat outside for lunch, she has been aweully quiet.

"Naomi, what's on your mind?", you ask her a bit worried. "You've been very quiet the past few days".

"Oh... it's nothing. Remember I told you about Iwaizumi? I'm a bit nervous to face him again since I haven't seen him in a very long time", she admits while staring at her feet.

You almost forgot about that again. Seeing her like this makes you think she still has feelings for him, although she said she didn't.

"You know, I don't see the problem here", you start.

Naomi raises one of her eyebrows, staring at you like you just said something very mean.

"I don't get why you can't be with a rival to be honest. Yes, the team won't like it, but who cares? It's your life, Naomi. If you like him so much, you should definitely go for it. The team just has to deal with it", you say.

A sweet smile appears on your friends face.
"That's very considerate of you, (y/n). It's just some unwritten rule I made up myself. But if you say it like that, I might drop that stupid rule".

"Please, drop it! Just do your thing tonight and see what happens. And if the boy's don't like it, I'll make sure they will", you grin as you give her a thumbs up.

She rolls her eyes.
"Fine. But if I'm getting railed tonight, you are too", she quickly says before running into the store.

"Hey! Come back here!"

"And? What do you guys think?", Maya says as she circles around her own axis.
Maya is wearing a really pretty black dress. It's a tight one, which makes her look slim. It has two thin straps and the dress is not very long.

"You look so hot Maya, I would almost date you", you tease her.

"Your opinion doesn't count bitch", she snarls back at you.

"Buy it, it's made for you", Aya adds.

Aya and Naomi already chose their outfits. They both bought a mini-skirt and a sexy top. Aya bought a white skirt with a black top, revealing her stomach and Naomi bought a black skirt with a red top.
