With your father standing on your right side and your mother on your left side, both of your parents stared at Semi, wondering who was sitting in their kitchen.
"Jesus! Stop staring at him like that, he'll run away", you say as you give your parents a soft slap against their arms. "This is Eita Semi, he's a friend of mine and he's helping me with my math homework, right?" You say the latter with your teeth clenched, signaling that he needs to play along.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both, miss and mister Sato", he politely answers as he tries to stand up. Of course, the boy still wasn't able to do so and once he realizes that, he holds the bag in his place, slowly sitting down again. The movement looked very stiff and a little bit weird in your opinion.
"Uhh Semi plays volleyball and he hurt his knee while playing a practice match today, so walking is a bit painful now", you make up as you give him a little pat on his right hand that isn't holding the bag.
"Yeah but don't worry though, your daughter took great care of me", he smiles at your parents. That comment had a completely different meaning than the one your parents were thinking about right now. Semi noticed your eyes widen a little bit while he made that comment, a satisfied smirk appearing on his face.
"As she should", you hear another voice saying from the hall. Your parents already had bad timing, but this is really the pinnacle. Maya had just entered the house, hanging her coat on the coat rack. With a smile on her face, your sister walks from the hall to the kitchen, grabbing a glass to fill it with water.
"What a nice surprise to finally see you here Semi", Maya grins. "That was about time".
You turn around in your chair, giving your sister an angry 'shut the fuck up' look. She sticks out her tongue for a moment and then walks to the sofa in the living room to turn on the TV.Your parents looked very confused, not quite aware of what was happening. Your mother was the first one to wake up from her little trance, casting a sweet smile at Semi. "Do you want to stay for dinner? I'm going to cook now anyways, so you might as well join us."
Sometimes, you really wanted to strangle your mother. You could hear Maya almost spitting out her water as she start giggling.
You were totally fine with Semi staying for dinner, but not NOW. You couldn't imagine the amount of stress Semi must be having right now, sitting at your kitchen table with a volleyball bag on his lap, trying to hide his boner while your whole family was only paying attention to the stranger in their kitchen.
But surprisingly, Semi remained very calm. There was no sign of stress or nervousness, he just sat there quietly as if nothing had happened before everybody entered the house.
"I would really like that, thank you miss", he replies with the sweetest smile you had ever seen. "May I ask where the restroom is?", he asks as he stands up, the volleyball bag dropping down on the floor.
"NO DON'T-"
You close your eyes at his sudden movement, wanting to yell all the curse words you know at him while you cover your face with your hands in embarrassment. So much for my teenage years and the rest of my life, you think.
"(Y/n) are you alright?", your dad asks you with a worried tone, patting your back to comfort you. "Is something wrong?"
What now?
Heart pounding, you remove your hands from your face, glancing at Semi's lap and then at his face. A big grin stares at you with folded arms as he gives you a little wink.
"What the hell Semi?", you yell but you immediatley slap your hand over your mouth, realizing you just yelled that out loud. Nice (y/n), very nice.
