You giggle as you put away your phone and leave your room to grab something to eat. When you arrive at the kitchen, Maya is already sitting at the table.
"You're up early", you say with a questioning look as you furrow your eyebrows. Maya was all dressed up, like she was going to leave the house soon. Your sister didn't respond to your statement so you let out a soft growl as you slap the back of her head.
"Earth to Maya you creep, what is wrong?", you ask her with a loud voice.
"O-oh, sorry", she stutters. "I'm going somewhere."
You turn around as you take a bite of your croissant, walking over to the kitchen table to sit down across from your sister.
I knew it, you thought.
"You're nervous! Even a visually impaired person can see that red cheeks of yours!", you smirk at your sister, causing her head to turn even more red.
"Spill it bitch, where are you going this early? And more importantly, with who?", you say as you give her a serious but playful stare.
"Ugh! I hoped I would already be gone before you, mom and dad would wake up", she growls as she keeps staring at the middle of the table with her arms crossed. "But I'm going to meet someone. I have to take the bus in an hour, because I'm heading to the city", she mumbles. You almost couldn't hear what your sister was saying.
