"Thank you sir, it was a pleasure doing business with you." I looked up from my phone and smiled once I seen August and his new tour manager shaking hands. "And it was nice meeting you Mrs.Alsina." I nodded and softly shook his hand. "Likewise."

"I'll be calling you in a few days once I get all the details together, all the major decisions will be your call and anything else we decide to do will be ran by you first." August nodded. "Perfect. Have a good day Mike."

He gathered his things and stepped out of the confrence room, leaving August and I alone.

He sat beside me, throwing his arm around the top of my chair. "You ready to go?" I nodded my head yes. "Yeah, you know I appreciate you wanting me to be apart of this tour thing, but when you said you wanted me to spend the day with you, this wasn't what I was expecting."

He chuckled. "I know, that's why we're going to lunch right now." He stood up from his seat and helped me up out of mine.

"We are?" He nodded. I pulled my purse up on my shoulder and lifted a brow. "What's the catch?" He laughed. "Damn, it has to be a catch? You act like I don't do sweet shit for you all the time." I smirked, knowing he was right.

After all the drama we been through years ago, August had really tightened up. Every now and he had his moments, but overall he had stepped his game up.

After we had renewed our vows, we kept on going to counseling for about a year until we felt comfortable enough to be a unit on our own again. And ever since then, things have been great.

"You do, but this time it was really unexpected." He opened up the door for me, letting me walk out first. "That's the point ma, I gotta keep you on your toes."

I shook my heas as I chuckled. "Right so where are we eating lunch?" He shrugged. "Wherever my queen wants to go." I smirked. "How about that new Italian restuarant that just opened downtown?" "Ight, whatever you want."

"You know Craig and Kelsey are finally coming back next week." He chuckled. "I know, I just talked to Craig earlier this week, it's about time they bringing they black asses back home, they now they too bougie to be living up in Paris."

I laughed, nodding my head in agreement. "They're always traveling, claiming they trying to get more cultured, I don't know why they won't just get married, settled down here and have some babies, they alwaya have to be rebels." I took a sip of my lemonade and sat back in my seat.

"That's why there perfect for each other, they're just alike." I opened my mouth to speak, but the sound of my phone vibrating in my bag stopped me. I opened my Celine bag and pulled out my phone.

"Oh it's Aliyah." I quickly answered the phone, putting it to my ear.

ME: "Hey baby."

ALIYAH: "Hey, are you busy?"

ME: "No, Im just sitting here at a resturant with your father, wassup? Is everything okay?"

ALIYAH: "Yeah everything's fine, I just wanted to tell you that Im staying after school tommorow and the next day to start my tutoring."

I smiled.

ME: "You signed up to be a tutor."

ALIYAH: "Yeah, it's two days a week, or maybe even three depending on who I get."

ME: "Okay, that's fine, Im glad your feeling better."

ALIYAH: "I know, it's not even worth trippin about."
