"Bye baby, be good, and don't give Marcus a hard time." I slightly smiled to myself as I watched Ms.Richmond tell Bria goodbye before leaving for work. "What time are you coming back mommy?" She asked with a frown.
"The usual time baby, but you'll be sleeping, so I'll see you in the morning." She kissed her forehead, causing Bria to sigh.
"Can you come tuck me in when you get home?" I smirked as she chuckled.
"Doesn't Marcus tuck you in at night?" She nodded her head.
"Yeah, but he doesn't do it right, I like it when you do it."
Marcus sighed, shaking his head. "Okay, how about when I come home, I'll come up to your room and tuck you in properly?" She smiled, and immediately started shaking her head."Okay." She hugged her legs before running upstairs to her bedroom.
Ms.Richmond took a deep breath before turning to Marcus. "I'll be back as soon as I can, make sure Bria eats, and that she ties up her hair before she goes to bed alright?" He nodded.
"Ight."
"Now, go up there and get y'all studying on." She smiled at me, causing me to smile back.
"Dinner's on the stove, make sure Bria eats by six." She grabbed her purse and keys off the table and unlocked the door.
"Love you."
"Love you too." She opened up the door and left, leaving Marcus and I alone.
He locked the door behind her, and turned around.
"How long has your mom been working the night shift?" He sighed. "Just for a few weeks, it ain't been that long." I nodded.
"You wanna go upstairs and study, or you wanna stay down here?" I shrugged. "We can go upstairs, since Bria is up there."
"Ight." He grabbed his bookbag that was sitting on the floor and walked up the stairs as I followed him.
He pushed his bedroom door open and took his usual seat, and I took mine."
How is class going? Is there anything you're stuck on?" He shook his head. "Nah, class is straight, I think Im gettin everything for the most part." I lifted a brow.
"The most part?" He nodded. "We'll see about that." I opened up my textbook and waited for him to get situated.

MIKE: "So when can I see you again?"
I smirked to myself as I layed back on my bed.
ME: "Whenever you want too, it's up to you."
MIKE: "You free this weekend??"
I bit down on my bottom lip, knowing I was going to be at daddy's house this weekend.
ME: I can get away for awhile, what you tryna do?"
MIKE: "You already know what Im tryna do."
I chuckled.
ME: "Besides that, did you have anything else in mind?"
MIKE: "Nah, did you??"
I paused for a second.
ME: Kind of, I mean, we both know what we're gunna do when we see each other, but don't you wanna do something else other than that? We could always watch a movie or something."
He laughed.
MIKE: "When did we start doing stuff like that?"
I sighed.
