"Morning baby." I pulled my shirt over my head, looking at mama standing in my doorway.
"Mornin, you leavin?" She nodded, pulling her purse up on her shoulder. "Mhm, and Im working a double shift tonight, so I'll probably see you in the morning."
I sighed. "Again? ain't it like the fifth time this month?" She sighed, nodding her head yes. "It is, but I need the money, somebody's birthday is coming up soon, and I wanna ge him something nice."
I chuckled a litle, shaking my head, knowing she was talking about my birthday. "Ion want anything, so you don't gotta get me nothin." She sucked her teeth."
"It's your ninetenth birthday, your almost a grown man." I chuckled, putting on my bucket hat.
"Almost?"
"Yes, almost." She started. "Stop trying to grow up so fast on me, your still my little baby boy." I shook my head.
"Bria's the baby, not me."
"The both of you will always be my babies, as long as I live." I smiked. "Ight mama,"

"You okay baby? You need somethin?" I sat my toothbrush back down in it's holder and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. "Im fine." I said, looking back at the bathroom door behind me.
"You sure?" August asked on the other side of the door. "Yeah, just a little morning sickness, I'll be fine." He was silent for a second.
".....You positive? This is the fourth time you threw up since you woke up this mornin." I softly sighed.
"Im sure, I promise."
"Ight." He mumbled. I turned back to the sink, beginning to wash my hands. Today I had woke up feeling sick as a dog. So far, morning sickness hadn't been a issue for me, but for some reason this morning everything just hit me like a bus.
From the moment I stepped out of bed, I felt woozy and then I started to feel extremely nauseous. I had spent my whole morning so far here in the bathroom, throwing up everything but my intestines.
It's been so long since I had a baby, that I had forgotten what all of this felt like. I dried my hands on my towel before pulling my hair up.
I looked up at the mirror, looking at my pale, washed out face. I was tired as hell from all this puking, and all I wanted to do was lay back down and sleep.
I stepped out of the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I slowly walked over to the bed, since I felt like dropping to the ground from the exhaustion I was feeling.
I pulled the covers back, carefully laying myself in the bed. Just as I was about to roll over, a sharp pain shot through me, causing me to pop right back up.
I grabbed a hold of my stomach and took a few deep breaths. I had no idea where that pain had came from, but what I did know was that it scared me like hell.

I stepped out of my bedroom, closing the door behind me. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, along with my headphones, getting myself ready for the walk to the bus stop. I placed one headphone in, and was just about to put in the other, when I heard daddy's voice behind me.
"Morning babygirl." I looked over my shoulder and slightly smiled once I seen him stepping out of AJ's room. "Morning.....is mama downstairs?" He shook his head, walking over to me.
