Aliyah P.O.V.

"Aliyah please stop crying, you gotta get yourself together girl." I grabbed a paper towel and wiped my red face for the fifth time this morning. "This was only you and Marcus' first arguement, do you know how many times AJ and I argued and broke up? It's not the end of the world girl, I promise." Marissa said.

She rubbed my back as I tried my best to wipe all my tears away. "This was the first time we had ever had a fight and he broke up with me because of it, I just feel really dumb for letting something so petty get this far." I grabbbed another paper towel and wiped my face.

She sighed. "I know, but it happens...when you were with Tyree, didn't you guys get into petty fights all of the time? Cause I damn sure know AJ and I did, hell most couples do."

I shook my head. "No, we barely argued about anything...we barely even fought, we only started to have problems when he started disappearing on me." Marissa sighed again.

"Okay, well trust me when I say this, Im sure Marcus was just upset, and he broke things off with you out of anger, most guys do that stupid shit. You guys just got together, it would be dumb as hell for you two to end things now, like really." I took a deep breath, hoping she was right.

"Just give him some time to calm down and you do the same." She picked my bag up off the bathroom floor and sat it up on the counter. "Now clean your face up and put some makeup on, you know your too damn lightskin to be crying at school like this."

I slightly chuckled, unzipping my bag. "How long do we have until first period starts?" She looked down at her phone as I pulled out my makeup bag.

"Fifteen minutes, but ten really, since you gotta make it up all them damn stairs to get to the third floor." I nodded. "And what about you? You sure you'll make it to class on time?" I leaned into the mirror, putting on as much foundation as I possibly could to cover up my red face.

"Yeah, I'll be fine don't worry about me, just worry about you girl." I nodded.

All of a sudden the girls bathroom door flew open, flying back into the wall. I slightly frowned and looked over to see Amara speed walking into the bathroom, rushing into one of the stalls.

The stall door slammed behind her, causing Marissa and I to look at one another. "Is she okay?" Marissa mouthed to me. I shrugged, sitting my foundation down.

"....Amara, are you alright?" I walked over to the stall door waiting for a response, but all we heard was the sound of her throwing up.

My eyes widened. "Oh my god, are you throwing up?!" I asked, leaning towards the door again. Marissa walked over beside me, once we heard her throwing up some more.

"Why the hell is she throwing up?" Marissa whispered to me, as she went in on the toilet bowl. "I don't know." I whispered back.

The toilet flushed, causing the both of us to step back away from the stall door.

The lock clicked, and the door opened and Amara stepped out, looking pale as ever.

She walked passed up, going over to the sink, rinsing her mouth out.

"You alright?" I asked, walking over to her. She ignored my question and continued rinsing her mouth out with water.

"Do you need something?" Marissa asked her, placing a hand on her back.

"A hug?...a pill?....a toothbrush?" I smacked my lips and shook my head, letting her know it wasn't the time for jokes.

I grabbed hand full of paper towels once she cut the sink off and handed it to her. "Thanks." She mumbled, wiping her mouth with the paper towels.
