2 weeks later-Aliyah P.O.V.

"Alright, y'all be good and don't mess up my house." Mama pulled AJ and I into a big bug before kissing our foreheads. "I gotchu mama, the party ain't even fena be all that big." I rolled my eyes a little, knowing he was lying.

"Uh huh sure, all I know is when your father and I come back, everything better be in one piece."

Daddy chuckled. "Enjoy yourself youngin." He pulled AJ into a half hug and gave him dap. "And watch after my baby girl." He turned to me and smiled, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye daddy."

"Bye princess."

Mama sighed, pulling her bags up on her shoulder. "We'll be back tommorow night, if you need anything just call." AJ and I nodded our heads as we watched them walk over to the front door.

"Good luck daddy."

He smirked at me before nodding. "Thanks."

We stood side by side until they both walked out of the front door and locked it behind themselves.

"Ight look." AJ said, turning to me. "I need you to do me a favor." I frowned, folding my arms across my chest.

"And who said I would want to do it??" He sucked his teeth. "Is that how you gon do me on my birthday??"

I sighed. "...What do you want?" He smirked. "Ight so, you know there's gunna be hella people here tonight right?" I nodded. "Yeah, you better hope you can keep it under control."

He fanned me off. "I will, but look, I ain't wanna go out to the store and get the food and drinks while mama and daddy was here because I knew once they seen how much shit I had, they would start to question me about how many people was showing up."

"Okay, so? Where are you going with this?"

"I needa start gettin the house prepeared, you know, locking up mama and daddys room, and puttin away all the expensive shit so nobody will rob us. Can you run to Wal-Mart and pick some food and stuff up?"

I sighed. "And what do I get out of it for helping you?" He sucked his teeth together. "What you want?"

"Do my laundry for a week." He frowned. "What? Hell nah, I barely do my own laundry." I rolled my eyes.

"If mama would stop doing it, you would have no choice but to do your own, it's that or no deal." I folded my arms across my chest, waiting on him to answer.

"....Fine." I smiled. "Just go, and hurry up ight?" He tossed me his car keys and pushed me towards the front door.

I opened the door, making my way to AJ's car. He had never let me drive his car before, so I knew he must have wanted me to hurry and get back.

I slid into the driver seat, pulling my phone out my pocket. I was kinda nervous about his party tonight, since I didn't know if Marcus was gunna show up or not. It was a open invitation, and the whole damn school was coming, so I knew there was a possibility of him being here.

I started up the igntion, and dialed Marissa's number. I placed the phone to my ear, as I backed up out of our driveway.

MARISSA: "Hello?"

ME: "Hey, you busy?"

MARISSA: "Not really, Im just sittin here watching re-runs of The Parkers."

I slightly chuckled.

ME: "Okay good, throw something on and come with me to Wal-Mart."

MARISSA: "Um okay? Is there a reason why you just wann take a random trip to Wal-Mart?"
