set-up for next chapter ;)

also, another two in one day? let's goooo

I crack open the door, finding Lincoln still asleep on the bed.

It's only nine, so I don't plan to wake him up.

"Morning.", Karl greets me with a smile when I enter the kitchen.

"Hi.", I greet him back, yawning as I say it.

"You want some toast?", he offers, hovering a piece of bread over the toaster.

"I'm good.", I pass on his offer.

"Lincoln asleep?", he asks as he spreads peanut butter on his piece of toast.

"Yeah. I think you guys wore him out yesterday.", I laugh as I slide onto one of the barstools.

"I just love him so much; I can't help myself. He says he wants to play; I'll play.", Karl shrugs.

Sapnap enters the kitchen, lazily leaning against the doorway.

"You might want to talk to George, Finn. We can't get through to him.", Sapnap sighs.

"What?", I furrow my brow at him.

"He's struggling really bad with everything going on with Clay. I don't think he slept at all last night.", Karl frowns.

There's a long pause before I stand up from my seat.

"Is he up?", I ask them.

Sapnap nods.

I leave the kitchen without another word, headed towards the bedroom with George in it.

He's lying on the bed, his phone hovering above his face.

"George?", I speak up, catching his attention.

"Hmm?", he doesn't move his phone.

He doesn't even look at me.

I settle into bed next to him, resting my head on his chest.

He's looking through his photos, focused on an album of photos of all six of us.

"Can we talk about it?", I keep my voice soft.

George sighs, locking his phone and setting it on the bed beside him.

"I just can't believe he did that. Like I keep replaying that moment in my head, and I just can't believe it.", George mumbles after a moment.

I stay quiet, letting him talk before I try to say anything.

"He hurt you and Alex. Clay. Our Clay. Hurt you both. I just don't know what to do or how to feel about it.", George admits.

There's a long lull in the conversation before I realize he wants me to say something.

"I don't think you really have to have a set reaction or set emotion about it. I think the whole situation is confusing, and I don't think we need to rush our feelings.", I ramble, tracing circles on George's chest with a singular finger.

He wraps one arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him like I'm going to disappear.

"I want to talk to him, but I also don't. You know?", George speaks up again.

I hum in agreement.

There's a giant hole in my heart, but I also am a little nervous at the thought of the impending conversation.

A soft knock catches both of our attention.

It's Sapnap.

"Linc's up.", he whispers before shutting the door again.

I look up at George, torn at what to do.

"We should go somewhere fun with him today.", George suggests.

I smile at his thought.

Lincoln can even manage to pull George out of his little rut.

"Where are you thinking?"

"Mickey?!", Lincoln's jaw drops a bit as he glances between all of us.

I squeeze George's hand.

"Yeah. Disney World will be fun!", George grins at the boy.

Lincoln beams at us, and his toothy smile makes us all giggle.

"Go now?", he jumps up and down.

"Okay.", I laugh.

When we finally make it to Disney World, we immediately begin scouting out the first ride to go on.

Lincoln is settled on top of Sapnap's shoulders, able to see much better from his new position.

"Linc would like Small World. He likes music.", I observe as we look through the printed map we were handed at the entrance.

"God, I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all day.", Alex jokes as we near the ride.

"Look!", Lincoln points at a certain pair of Mickey Mouse ears.

They're patterned like Woody from Toy Story.

"He loves Toy Story.", I mutter to all of the boys.

There's a quick battle over who is buying the set of ears for the boy, and it makes me laugh how spoiled he's getting.

"Say thank you.", I prompt my nephew as George hands him the pair of ears.

"Thank you!!", Lincoln cheers as he puts the ears on his head.

Karl stands on his tiptoes to help him adjust them before we continue walking.

"Let's take a picture in front of the castle!", Alex randomly shouts.

I snap a picture of them with Lincoln, one without Lincoln, and one with all of us.

"I'm posting the one of you boys, okay?", I ask them for permission first.

They all happily agree.

I choose a particular picture where Lincoln is laughing, wide smiles on every single boy's face.

I guess it is the happiest place in the world... thanks for nephew-sitting :)

I know the comments are going to be a large variety of supportive to questions to seeing my nephew in fan cams, but it's too cute not to post.

"Ride?", Lincoln asks us, lightly pulling on Sap's hair.

I giggle at the muted look of pain on Sapnap's face as he tries to hide it.

"Let's go ride!", I encourage them, and we all begin walking towards the ride.

Clay's POV

I stare at the picture again, zooming in to various parts of the picture.

They all look so happy.

None of them even told me Lincoln was in town.

I want to have another conversation about dinos and tell him funny stories about Patches.

George hasn't gone to Disney since moving in, and he went without me?

His first time at Disney without me?

Where are they staying?

I hope they have a nice house.

I'd offer to help pay for something if they really don't want to come back yet, but they're not returning most of my texts.

I just want them to come back.

Patches jumps onto the bed where I'm lying, curling up down by my feet.

When was the last time I got out of bed?

I just want them back.

I don't like being alone...
