okay i know i just uploaded a chapter, but i couldn't keep this one to myself any longer...

"You ready to go home, buddy? See Mommy and Daddy?", I ask Lincoln as I tie his shoes.

Later tonight we have to take Linc to the airport so Arch can pick him up, and I have to admit that I'm going to miss him a lot.

I want to hear all about their honeymoon to Brazil.

It's been somewhere they've wanted to go for forever, and I'm a little jealous to be honest.

I love travelling, but with the boys' schedules it's so hard to go anywhere.

I'm sure if I put up enough of a fight they'd all disappear from the Internet for a while so we could go somewhere, but I'd feel bad for forcing them away.

"Daddy? Mommy?", Linc perks up at the mention of them.

I know he's had a lot of fun with us, but I'm sure he's ready to go home.

Patches casually strolls in, immediately rubbing against my leg for attention.

"Kitty!", Linc attempts to pick her up, and I immediately lean to help him.

"Kitty fat.", he grunts.

I laugh, covering his mouth with my hand.

"What did he just say?", George asks, popping his head in the doorway.

"Don't tell Clay.", I tell him through my laughing, Linc still struggling to hold Patches comfortably.

"I'm going to tell him!", George taunts before practically skipping away.

"Go get him, Linc.", I point towards the door.

Linc loses interest in Patches, opting to chase after George.

"Hey!", I hear George yell before there's a loud thud.

I rush out of the room to see George lying flat on the floor with Linc sitting on his back.

"Got him.", Lincoln smiles proudly up at me.

"Good job!", I give him a high-five, George acting dead on the floor.

"What just happened?", Karl asks, descending the stairs.

"George is being a drama queen like always, obviously Karl.", Alex jokes.

"Shut up, Alex.", George grunts as he turns over and sits up.

"Fuck you too.", Alex replies.

I cover Linc's ears while Karl's jaw drops.

"Alex!", Karl hisses.

"I forgot! I'm sorry!"

They've actually done a fairly decent job of not swearing around the kid, and I'm just hoping he won't drop an F bomb in front of his parents.

Lincoln moves my hands away from his ears, shooting me a look.

"Ow.", he says it with so much sarcasm that I laugh.

"You're fine. Go play.", I help him stand and watch as he runs off.

"What time does their flight land tonight?", Karl asks, checking his watch.

"Um. It's either six or six-thirty. Arch texted me the details before they left, so I'll have to find it later.", I reply, helping pull George off of the ground.

"Is all of his stuff packed?", Alex asks me.

I scoff.

"Every time I put stuff in his suitcase, I end up having to take something out for him, so I'll do It right before we leave.", I explain.
