Chapter 18

Hinata's eyes widened... How could he say this so.. so..bluntly..

The doorbell rang interrupting their staring..

"I-I'll get it.."-Hinata jumping up and escaping the awkward situation 

She swung the door revealing Kiba

"K-Kiba-kun w-what happened?"-Hinata

"Nothing.. Just seeing if your back, Anyway you wanna come hangout with Shino and me? It's been a while"-Kiba gave her a hug

Naruto ignored the burning feeling (Jealousy ;D) and looked towards the wall as Hinata glanced at him

"Naruto's here?.."-Kiba whispered

"Y-Yeah..."-Hinata

"He rejected you didn't he? Come hangout with us in the Training grounds.."-Kiba whispered

"I- C-Can we hangout l-later?"-Hinata 

"Whatever.. But if he does anything call me"-Kiba slightly angry at her choice..

Hinata nodded and shut the door leaning on it after it closed.. She closed her eyes and sighed

"Hinata?"-Naruto called out from the living room

She was jumped at the sound of his voice before walking to the living room

"Yeah?"-Hinata

"Why didn't you go with Kiba?"-Naruto

"Since you were here.. I uh said that I'd join them another time"-Hinata

"You don't have to cancel your team meetings because of me.. "-Naruto 

"We started hanging out a couple weeks ago...but please don't cancel any of your events to meet me.. It makes me feel bad"-Naruto

"But I do cancel things everyday to hangout with you-"-Hinata protested

"Then we shouldn't even hang out"-Naruto joked

"Anyway.. I really gotta get going... Kaka-sensei is treating me to ramen"-Naruto putting on his shoes and bounding out of the apartment

we shouldn't even hang out?.... Hinata thought watching his figure run onto the main street.. It was a joke wasn't it?.... His sense of humor.. thought Hinata as she shook her head giggling

Naruto POV:

I was excited to have Ichiraku ramen after such a long time but I had to check in my apartment first..It was clean, Thanks to Hinata but I had mail.. It was a neat little envelope reading

"Party of 2021"

He placed it on the coffee table to read later.. But when he was cleaning his mess of ramen cups he might have thrown it in the dustbin.. 

 I have wayy more important things to worry about then that party like RAMEN.. Naruto thought as he ran out of his apartment

"Hey Naruto.. Impatient as ever"-Kakashi putting his book down

"Hi sensei-"-Naruto waved getting on with his ramen

"Well, There's a reason I called you here"-Kakashi

"Yeah?"-Naruto

"Tell me about the second mission was it a success? I want you to tell Hinata about the 2nd mission.. She'll find out soon anyway"-Kakashi

"The one about making her confident, Yeah that was a huge success.. I'll tell her on the way home"-Naruto with a mouth full of ramen
