Chapter 11

One year later...

" Happy birthday to you, happy birthday happy birthday happy birthday to you.!hip Hip hooray, hip hip hooray!"  Everyone sang for Emily.

Today she was turning one and I was happy for her. Some of my colleagues were here with me , my friends and My Boss. I've never felt so loved since it was my mother who was loving me alone my whole life till she passed on when I was in my second year of college. We sang and danced for Emily. She say in her chair and danced along with us even though she still couldn't walk.

Leah and Xander were married and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and his name is Leandro.
Mr and Mrs Brown gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and her name was Cassandra , I picked the name since they didn't know what to name her.
Christina and Jack were engaged.
James and Blanche we're still dating.
I decided to give Kyile a chance but told him Emily couldn't call him Dad. Victoria got a boyfriend call Josh . And Victor was dating a guy called Stanley. I guess we are all happy in our lives.

We were all happy together having fun and eating delicious food.
That's when my baby Emily stood up on her two feet and walked towards me. I was all teary when she looked into my eyes and walking. All was left was for her to start speaking..

Her legs wobbled and she fell to the ground , I didn't panic because I didn't want her to cry instead I cheered for her so didn't everyone else then she got up to walk again the support she had made her confident and walk straight to me without falling or wobbling.
I took a video of her walking as a memory, to show her once she was old enough to understand anything.

We ate chocolate cake, Emily ate chips and her favorite color (blue) sweets.

Later that day we went to Dylan's grave yard and sang to him and put flowers and his age on the thumb stone. I told Emily that her twin brother passed on, on their birthday. She quickly understood and she took flowers and put it on the grave and blew a kiss to him as if she could see him. As we were leaving she waved at the grave and smiled as if she could see Dylan there.  Some people believed that children can see angels and good ghosts.

We went back to the house to open the gifts that were bought fir Emily.
Since she was growing and needed some entertainment I bought her an iPad. She also got clothes , shoes , more toys. I aslo decorated a room for her. Christina gave her the car since she can now understand a bit of how to use it. I was teary at how my baby was growning to be so big. I was happy she was growing to look more like me that Matthew.
Kyile came in as Emily was opening the gifts. She saw him and ran into his arms.

" Uncle K is here to see his princess." He said and she laughed and danced in his arms.

I was glad that Kyile was cooperating with me saying he isn't Emily's father , I didn't want Emily to grow up and find out Kylie isn't her father then becomes sad or depressed. I just want to see her happy.
She is able to go to nursery school without crying for me , instead I would be the one that worries about her when I am at work.

" Hey we are here!" Kylie said and looked at me with a worried face I winked at him reassuring him that I was okay.

" Come now Emily go open up your gifts and let Mama talk to Uncle K okay?" I looked at her and she nodded.

" So what where you thinking of ?" He said pulling me into a hug and kissing me all over my neck.

" Hey calm down there's a child here. Let's go talk in the kitchen. " I said pulling away from him. " Emily I'm going to the kitchen to make some food do you want your veggie fries?" I asked and she nodded with a smile.

Both Kyile and I went to the kitchen. I made Emily's fries and a chocolate shake for her.
Kyile kept on kissing me as I made food and it was annoying.

" Kyile what if Emily had to walk in on us kissing ? " I said and watched his smirk grows

" I will kiss you infront of her and see how she reacts when her uncle is kissing her mother." He said

His eye's focus moved from my eyes to my lips and he joined our lips , I kissed him back , our kiss lasted at least 8 minutes until a cute disgusted face stood there looking at us kissing. She block her eyes and made a loud disgusted sound.
I stood there regreting how I was moaning and kissing Kyile.

After a good stare a each other I apologised to Emily and she smiled at me and Kyile.
We ate our food in silence. Emily ate and went back to her room to open up the gifts, I shouted at Kyile because he seduced me into kissing him back. We washed the dishes and went up stairs to Emily's room to watch her open her gifts... She was happy while opening all of them.

Later that day when everyone was back from work we sat down watching soccer like always it's the gents who choose the channel but somehow the ladies watch along with them and we all cheer, Emily just plays with Leandro.
I heard Emily crying when I got there she was crying for her toy that was taken by Leandro. Even though she was older Leandro still managed to make her cry  .

" Mama!" She slowly said getting pleasure from her own voice.  I was so happy she started speaking.

" Guys come here quick!" I said

" What!" Everyone asked

" Emily just said her first word....she said mama! " I excitedly shouted and everyone cheered to Emily making her smile and forget about the toy.

" Emily say it again." I said with so much enthusiasm.

She first looked at everyone and became shy  , I have her a kiss on her cute little hand to give her comfort.

" Please say it for Me." I looked her starting to smile.

" Mama!" She exclaimed and danced seeing that everyone was happy that she said her first word.

" Yes that's my girl." Christina said and picked her up spinning her.

Today was a special day for Emily she took her first step and said her first word. I was so proud of my baby girl. I kissed her on her forehead and in her keeps making her blush .

" No mama spop it !" She said her first sentence. I was more proud.

We all laughed at Leandro who was crying because he though he was in trouble for taking Emily's toy , and he was now my favorite because he I the reason Emily spoke today.
I'm sure this was the best birthday present anyone could ever ask for.

"I love you my baby Emily Kyla Styles!" I said

" I vuv mama" she said and hide her face in the crock of my neck.

What do you think of this chapter. I think it's wonderful , now Emily can walk and talk... I would be proud mother if my child walked and talked in the same day. Wouldn't you?
