Chapter 27

I went to all my meetings and all the deliveries that needed me to be there.  I was so tired from all the up and down that was going on.
Matthew was lucky because he chose to do the internal work and I chose to do more of the external.
I am in charge of meetings with other businesses, I do adverts and check our blog and social medias.

Matthew does all the meetings inside the Business and all ideas for the new campaigns, he does presentations for meetings, and share holders , suppliers , outsources.

Once I was fine with everything I told Victor he could leave since he was done. I just had to make a few calls and check my schedule so that I come prepared tomorrow, I thought I should check on the other employees if they were doing okay with thier work.

I walked around and saw that Matthew was still here. I wanted to pass his office really fast but he saw me and called me. Bit me being me started speed walking so that he doesn't talk to me.
I heard footsteps behind me. I looked to see Matthew running after me I slowed down and stopped.

" Hi" I said awkwardly

" Are you avoiding me?"

" No. No I am just... I .... Why would I avoid you?"

" I don't know , you stay at the office till late , you don't want to be in a room alone with me. You are now running away from me. What's going on?"

" Nothing. Really I was just taking a jog in the office. "

" Right after I called you_"

" You called me? I seriously didn't hear you."

" Okay. Fine , let me take you out for dinner."

" Why? I am sure Grace cooked and the girls must be asleep. Dylan can't_"

" Stop making excuses. I come from home , the girls are tucked in, Dylan is peacefully sleeping with Grace by his side. And grace did not cook. "

"Uhmm I am so tired I need to sleep and I have a meeting with Mr Cooper tomorrow at The school."

" We can always postpone it. And you be fine tired isn't an excuse."

I stood there not knowing what to say , I really wanted to run away from where we were standing but he seemed as if he would run after me. I looked around and thought about whether I wanted to go or not. I know o don't want to , but he would force me some how.

" You don't have to if you don't want. I ll just eat alone.

" That's the best idea. I'll go home and sleep okay. Bye see you tomorrow." I said and started to walk away.

I got back to my office and packed my stuff and took my car keys and went to the car.

I drove off. While driving I listened to some music because I was bored and I was trying to not fall asleep.

I got home and threw myself ok the couch and allowed myself to relax for once.

I put in the TV and watched some Netflix movie. I don't know what to do either than sleep but today I didn't want to sleep even though it was almost midnight. I'll call ok sick to my own office tomorrow. I am so drained.

Everything is just so exhausting. I could commit murder and get rest in prison for years. I was eat was watching Verginia and Georgia. It's filled with too much drama. Imagine me fighting with Emily like really really fighting. Doesn't sound like me at all.

After some time Matthew walked in from the front door. He looked drunk and his clothes were all messed up and his knuckles had blood.

" Matthew?" I called out but he just walked up the stairs without looking back.
