I was sitting in a cafe with Sweets on my day off, and we just chatted as my therapy time.
"So Spencer is ok with this?"
"100%. I even asked him three times before coming here."
"I'm glad he is ok with this. I would hate to be the cause of you two splitting up."
"You are good buddy. Cant say the same for my team."
"Why don't you just tell them?"
"Because it's not their business. I didn't plan on telling them knowing I went to Hawaii, and I don't plan for them knowing why I'm doing this."
"Which is why only Spencer and Hotchner know."
"And Rossi."
"You told him?"
"He figured it out."
"Smart man."
"He really is. Besides I'm not going to tell them if they think I would ever cheat."
"You mentioned your ex before Spencer accused you of it. What happened there?"
"He was cheating on me and so I told him I was done. He slapped me and kept me locked in the house for three days before I was able to leave and go to Spencers."
"He was the first person you thought to go to?"
"Yeah. I didn't even know if he was in town or not. I just went to him since I just knew he would be able to protect me."
"That's actually quite sweet."
"And you should know cause your last name is Sweets."
"So your whole family dynamic is weird right? I mean your the only girl between you and your four cousins and brother."
"Yeah I love it cause it meant I was able to do more guy things. But I also hated it since I'm the only girl, they all interrogate my boyfriends."
"He interrogated Spencer?"
"Oh no. No one has so far."
"So how are you going with things?"
"Going well. Zack even called to see how I was doing."
"He was really worried about you when that happened."
"Yeah. He wanted to come see me in Hawaii at the start but I said he couldn't."
"How come?"
"Because then my team would have most likely found where I was and rushed over. It's why we took the chance when the whole one year thing started with you guys.
"They must be really worried about you."
"I think most of them hate me now because of this."
"Why not tell them?"
"I'll tell them when it's all done.... maybe."
"Your mental health is more important here. But if your team is hating you now because of this then it will effect your mental health more."
"I'm used to people hating me."
"But your friends is a different case."
"They should know I'm secretive. Evidence the fact of the last case I had with them before fucking off."
"It most likely due to the fact that. The case was tough on all of you. That when they got you back, you disappeared again. It might be their way of coping, even though it's not a good one at that."
"Maybe."
