'This is going no where.'
"Nik just talk! For once don't play games and talk to me!" I exclaimed towards him as he sat across from me.
"I've told you this dear sister. I will never lie to you, I mean it."
"Then where is he?! Or are you just doing the exact same shit you did before I asked that one question after dad passed?!"
"I can't just outright tell you the answer this time."
"Why not?!"
"You need to work it out. My mind is still a mess some days and I can't give you clear directions. Just how I remembered it."
"Then how do you remember it.... Please Nik, I just want to help you."

"To the cabin we must go,
Hidden in trees it must be.
Over the hills and past the river bends,
That's where the mystery shall lay.

The summers are fun and full of glee,
Filled with children's giggles it be.
Watching over them for protection,
Is the house now null of the perception.

From its reaches of the circle,
Lays awake a wretched beast.
But be warned when near,
For you will disappear.

To find the man you seek,
You must find the place that they meet.
From ocean to lake,
Your meeting will be fate."

"What does that mean?"
"Everything makes sense if you just allow it to Mouse. For you are the key to the madness of our family. Because you are not just a Finley....." he told before pulling me close so no one else heard what he was saying before pulling away. "Got that?"
"Yeah. I got it."
"You mean the world to me. I will help protect you just say the words."
"Not this time Nik. Ok?"
"Ok." He told before kissing my forehead and letting me go. "Remember, we aren't just a Finley.... It doesn't mean we are always destined to be broken."
"It means we are allowed to excel."
"That's it Mouse." He told before I left the room.

"What does that all mean?" J asked as we sat in the room next to the interrogation trying to figure out what that whole thing meant.
'What is this leading to Nik?...... unless it's that one thing.'
"River?" Penelope asked.
"Get me a whiteboard." I told.

"What's happening?" Rossi questioned as I began to write down what he said.
"Shush."
"Shush?" They all questioned.
"I need silence for this." I stated.
I wrote it all down before stepping a few steps back and tilted my head at it. Something like this seemed very familiar about it. I just had to work it out.
'I know this.'
"River?" J questioned making me turn to look at them.
"I know why this sounds familiar."
"How?" They all asked.
"Nik would tell me it on the drive up. Sort of at least."
"What?"
"The first part of it. 'To the cabin we must go,
Hidden in trees it must be.
Over the hills and past the river bends,
That's where the mystery shall lay.' He's talking about one place and one place only."
"Where?"
"He's talking about our families cabin." I stated turning to them.
"Your family has a cabin?" Hotch asked.
"Yes. I haven't been in a few years cause been busy. But that's where I need to go."
"So what's the plan?" Penelope asked.
"Follow the clues he left. I don't know how long it will take me to do it though."
"You mean us." Morgan told making me give them a confused look.
"What?"
"River, we are going to help you." Prentiss told making me smile.
"And you can't stop it." J added.
"Then we better start packing."
