I woke up slightly sore from last night and realised I did in fact not put my clothes back on.
'Last night was good.'
I rolled over to see Spencer still sleeping making me smile. I wrapped my arms around him and gave his chest a kiss before resting my head on him to listen to his heart beat.
"Morning." He told in a slightly tired and with a slightly deep voice as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Mornin."
"Last night was fun." He told smiling as he played with the ends of my hair.
"It was. We should do it again sometime."
"It's a date." He told making me lean up and give him a kiss.
"I gotta go to the shop."
"Nooooo. Stay."
"I want to. But I have some books coming in and it's important I get them sorted. Besides, Josh misses coming in as often as he usually did."
"Fine." He told giving me another kiss before I got out of bed to get dressed and ready.

I was placing some books away when the bell to my shop rang.
"Parents." Josh stated making me slightly confused.
"What about parents?" I asked before turning my attention to him more.
"They think I spend too much time here for someone who doesn't work here."
"It's a safe space for people. Besides, half the time your upstairs studying."
"I think they just don't like the fact I like talking to you."
"Ha! Mood."
"They also think I should get a job which I think is their way of spending less time here."
"I mean, jobs good experience. My first job was pretty fun."
"What was your first job?"
"Buying this joint and running my book store."
"That makes so much sense." He told.
"Yeah. So what places were you thinking about?"
"Part of why I am here." He told getting his bag and pulled out a folder.
I watched in curiosity, as he opened the file and pulled a piece of paper out. He closed the folder and held out the paper for me and I carefully accepted it from him. I looked at it and saw it was a resume.
"I'm hoping you have a spot for me to work for you." He told.
"You wanna work here?"
"Makes sense. I love spending time here, I enjoy your company, you help teach me things and help me with homework..... Makes sense to work here."
"Well then Josh. What's the first thing you know about books?"
"The reason books smell nice especially old ones is because of the organic materials in the books as well as having a hint of vanilla." He explained slightly shocking me. "What? You teach me better then the teachers at school."
"I mean I expected you to say, that they are easy to throw."
"That as well."
"I just ask everyone who applies that question. You didn't really need to be asked it, cause you were hired the second you gave interest in wanting to work here."
"Really?!"
"Duh."
"Suck it parents!"
"Yeah!" I exclaimed with him. "Though you should respect your parents. This coming from an orphan who's brother is insane."
"Yeah probably should."
'This'll be fun.'
