I hear a symphony

After a day or so of Penelope telling me she found out River was safe, she told the others and they all were thankful for knowing she was ok. After a week we all began to do what we did when we weren't working a case.
"Any updates baby girl?" Morgan asked as we walked into the round table room to see if she had anything new.
"I got sent this video from Joe the other day but he said he couldn't inform us on where they are at the moment." She told before pressing play and we saw River playing chess with Zack I believed his name was.

"Rio just let him win one game." Tim exclaimed.
"He has to earn it!"
"I feel like it would not actually count if she lets me. For it to truely count I have to beat her fair and square."
"See."

"Who's that?" Morgan asked
"Think it's their friend Zack." I told
"The way he spoke, it's definitely Zack." Jj added before we continued watching.

"Rio you got any good snacks here?" Vix asked
"Just order room service dude."
"That's too expensive." He told
"You guys are rich." Zack stated
"True." They all told.
"Joe why are you filming this?" River asked
"Yeah that's usually my thang."
"He's began to tape me cooking, I mean it's cute but I swear to much." Tyler stated
"It's hot."
"Penelope wanted an update on you and I thought this would be easier."
"Oooooo Penelope!" They all said minus Zack and Joe. "Someone's crushing on the beautiful tech girl!"
"Shut up."
"He ain't denying it!" Tim exclaimed.
"I'm so embarrassed by this."
"I have no idea what's going on." Zack told.
"Oh right you've never met my team."
"He's met Jj."
"Not really. It was like two sentences before he handed the phone to me. She hadn't even got around to calling him when I was yoinked. Daisy did that."
"We don't really know each other."
"Well anywho," river began as she grabbed her phone and showed him a picture. "This is my BAU family. My two not gay dads, my mother figure, the hunk of a man, J as you most likely recognise, Spencer who I miss dearly! Don't worry guys I miss you all as well. And that is Penelope."
"She's cute. Definitely Joes type."
"Dude."
"Penelope and Jonathan! Sitting it the tree! K I S S I N G! First comes love! Next comes marriage!" They all sung minus Zack and showed Tim with a pillow in his shirt like he was pregnant. "Third comes the baby in the golden carriage! But that's not all, that's not all! The baby's drinking alcohol!"
"I hate you all."
"How does Penelope feel dating a dude who's nickname is Joe Joey?" Tim asked
"I hate it!"
"Also they ain't dating. Dude too chicken." River stated.
"Do we need to go to another zoo?" Vix asked.
"You know this was to be a sweet video for Rios team to help them check up on her, and now it's turned into a shit talk Joe."
"We still love you." They all told minus Zack who was just smiling through it.
"But fine we will fix this for you Joe." River told before getting the phone off of him. "Hey guys. I miss you guys a lot and it's weird not being able to talk or see you everyday. I'll be home soon, love you all."
She blew us a kiss before giving a wave and the video stopped.

"And that's all we've got so far."
"Do you know when this was done?" Prentiss asked
"Not really. Probably done at the start of the 3 months... but other then that nothing. He won't even reveal where we are or is any one else knows where she is."
"Where are we on contacting her cousins to see where they are?" Morgan asked
"I asked Daisy. Sniper is of training people in Iraq, Motor is travelling India, and De and Uni boy are off doing what they do." Jj told
"And Daisy won't even tell us." I added before there was a knock on the door.
We all looked to see it was Grace there.
"Hello again Agents. How have you been?"
"Where's River?" Penelope asked
"I can not disclose that information. But I will do what I came here to do."
"Which is?" Morgan asked making her walk in more and hand a video tape over to me.
"A gift for Mr.Reid. Mr. Knight, Mr. Lang, Mr. Peter's and Mr. Addy helped her make this and wanted you to see it. A special gift of sorts if you will." She told before turning around and began to leave. "Now I must be off, I have a lot of work to do and places to be. I must go to Paris to see how my in-laws are doing with there work."
We watched as she left and I just looked over the tape to see the front had Rivers hand writing.
'To my darling Spencer Reid.... she made me a tape.'
"You ok Spence?"
"Yeah. Guess she knows I've been watching her tapes."
'I truely miss you.'

When I got back to hers, I put my bag in it's spot for the last three months and put the tape in before sitting on the couch to watch it. Once it came to life, I was greeted with River at the piano working on something.

"You know Mac 'n cheese, I don't think this is good."
"All your music is good. Even my roommates like it."
"Yeah ok, but you told me yourself they kept thinking we were dating cause of The new boy in town tape we've all got."
"Tim, is a good director."
"That he is..... what if Spencer doesn't like it?"
"You've made it for him. Of course he's not going to like it. He will love it."
"How do you know though? I mean, you two haven't properly met. He only knows you from the tapes mostly."
"Because I saw how he is with you. I mean, he ran after you to not punch Sweets at your funeral. And also held you away from Sweets and your cousin so they didn't keep getting hit. He's also stated by your side after you were held hostage in the bank, after he found out about the Moon mental Institution, after your brother being a famous killer, and every thing else.... except that one thing. Why wouldn't he love the fact you made him something, when he's made you a painting and you've loved it so much you don't take it down."
"Why is it that you know the right things to say?"
"Because I know you and you always say the right thing to us."
"That Mr.Addy, was fucken cheesy."
"Well you do call me Mac 'n cheese, Miss.Finley."
"Touché."
"Why don't you play the song? Might help you decide."
"You've got me there." She told before she began to play some notes on the keyboard.

When she finished singing the others rushed to hug her and she let out a small laugh.
"Oh, you guys were filming this weren't you?"
"Yeah. We love the song." Tim told
"I hope Spencer will like it as well.... once we get the whole thing ready for him."
"He's going to love it Rio." Vix added before he gave her head a kiss
"I miss you Spence..... I'll be home soon, I promise."

The tape stopped and I couldn't stop but smile a bit.
"I miss you as well. I can't wait to see you again."
