Once I was done there, I quickly left and rejoined with my boys. The only downfall to that, was we had to rush into a random store to hide from my old team.
"This is wonderful." I muttered as we hid at the back of a clothing store.
"Why not call Grace and have us move to a new location?" Joe asked
"Maybe because that involves us into leaving here, and showing her team that we are here." Tim stated.
"God it was so much easier to hide that me and Zack were friends to my cousin."
"That only lasted two years of him working together." Vix told
"Only because he went looking for her at Christmas after we were all released."
"Even then we still try and hide that we are hanging out."
"Wait so what happened that Christmas?" Tyler asked
"One of my work associates decided he would rather drink eggnog and not wear a mask, like we should for protocol. Which ended up that we all could have been given Valleyfever. We didn't get it and we were all given the clear to go."
"And cause we were picking up Zack anyway, we decided to give them a Christmas gift." Vix continued.
"In hind sight we probably should have waited till his work mates were gone to yoink him." Jim added
"Yeah that was not a smart move. Who would have thought her cousin was gonna come looking for her afterwards." Tim stated
"I'm pretty sure you all thought that." Tyler told
"We all actually did. But we kinda went fuck it, imma kill him if he tries to hurt Zack."
"Wow we truely are an interesting bunch." He told
"Means we are the best kind of people." We all told before I pulled out a shirt.
"What you guys think?" I asked as I placed it to my torso making them all look.
"Looks nice."
"Sweet."
'Guess something good came out of this.'I was chilling on my bed waiting for my food to arrive, since I wasn't up to having dinner in the hotel or some restaurant, when there was a knock on the door.
"Finally." I whispered to myself.
I got up and grabbed my wallet to give the service person a ten dollar tip before heading to the door. I opened the door and looked up to see the people I didn't expect to see.
"Shit." I told before quickly trying to shut the door on them.
I was about to get the door shut when Derek put his foot in the door.
"River open the door."
"Sorry but I'm expecting food." I told as I kept trying to get the door shut.
He grabbed the door and pushed it open making me move away from them quickly.
"River we haven't heard from you in nearly four months." Emily told.
"I'm on a holiday. I've been given clearance by Aaron."
"A holiday doesn't consist of a call saying bye to us and then vanishing." Derek told.
"We were really worried about you."
"Well look you see me now don't you."
"We are bringing you in." He told as he walked towards me.
"No."
He didn't listen and picked me up throwing me over his shoulder as I continued to struggle in his grip.
"I swear to god Derek I will scream that you guys are kidnapping me."
A person began to walk towards us and I saw it was my food.
"Derek that's my food."
"Sorry but we need to take her with us, she won't be needing that."
"Sir please don't listen to them I'm being taken against my will!" I told as we continued to walk away from them.
"She's a bit drunk. Don't listen to her."
"I'm not drunk!"
"You calling me a liar baby?"
"I ain't calling you a truther."
'Fuck a duck.'
