After a week from Nik rushing off, I have been exhausted. The Christmas rush is just about to start and I'm also training Josh to prepare for when it does pick up and how to mark when someone makes a preorder incase we run out and what not. I walked into my place to see candles were lit, making me smile since it was obvious Spencer was back from the recent case the team went on. I closed the door and began to take my coat off and put things in their place when Spencer's head popped out of my kitchen.
"Your home!"
"So are you." I pointed out as he came over to give me a kiss.
"I have a surprise."
"Love surprises." I told making him smile.
"I know." He admitted making us chuckle.
I let him lead me to the kitchen to show the dining area all set up for a date night.
"I figured, we could eat and drink. Virgin drinks, since you still can't have any alcohol. And then after, you can wind down in a bath while I clean up, and then we will snuggle under the blankets and watch the most romantic movie I could think of."
"And what is that?"
"Little shop of Horrors." He told making me smile.
"You are the best Spencer."
"So are you." He told making me cup his face so I could give him a kiss.
"Did you mean it?"
"Mean what?"
"The marry me thing?" I asked making him smile.
"I believe one day I will be ready. But right now I just want to enjoy the two of us."
"Good to know."
"What about you?"
"One day. But I want to enjoy the two of us for now." I told making him smile down at me.
"Now. Dinner." He told making me chuckle.
We enjoyed dinner together and I was slightly lost in thought. That was until Spencer broke through it.
"You ok?"
"Hm? Yeah. Just thinking of something."
"Wanna share?"
"It's actually a surprise for you." I admitted making a shocked look form on his face.
"Really?"
"Yep." I told before going over to where I kept my ukulele and went back to my seat. "I've actually have been waiting for the right time to do this. I think now is the right time."
"Im gonna agree so I can hear it." He told making us chuckle.
I cleared my throat quickly before I began to strum the cords and I couldn't help but smile.

I looked towards Spencer when I finished the song to see the look he had, the way he looked at me when I played him the rainbow connection song awhile ago.
"I love it." He told cupping my face and giving me a kiss before pulling away. "And I love you."
"I love you as well." I told making him smile before we rested our heads together.
