A part about the woods was the fact I remembered parts of my life that meant a lot to me. Another part was.......
Everything is identical.
We continued to make our way through the woods and I was trying to locate the next bear carving.
'We should really put up signs of bears and have arrows point to the next one. Note to self, get Grace and Dave into getting that done.'
"How far till the next one?" J asked.
"Not sure." I admitted as we continued on the path we were walking.
As we did I couldn't help but remember when me and Zack walked through the woods."So when's the next bear?" Zack questioned as we walked hand in hand so we didn't lose one another.
"Shouldn't be far..... I'm hoping at least. I'm sorry I got us lost."
"It's not your fault. I mean, you haven't been here since you were 8 and wanted to show me to the lake. Things happen."
"I love how understanding you are!"
"I have a great teacher."
"Stop it." I told in a playful manner, making Zack chuckle.
We continued to walk till we came to a stop in a small clearing making me look around. No matter which direction I looked, I couldn't see the bear sign.
"Fiddlesticks."
"We lost?"
"We lost." I admitted spinning around.
Sadly when I did, I ended up tripping and began to fell backwards. I thankfully didn't hit the ground due to Zack catching me and we couldn't help but look into each other's eyes.
"Thanks." I quietly told.
"No problem."
Sadly we were interrupted when we heard a snapping sound of metal coming together making us freeze.I snapped out of my memory and stopped on my spot and began to look around.
'Why does this look familiar?'
I looked towards a tree to see what looked like a beat up sign and saw a small symbol that I could make out. As I continued to look at it, I soon quickly recognised the place and had the team freeze on the spots they were at.
"So, I've got good news and bad news." I told confusing them.
"Bad news?" Spencer asked
"We may be slightly lost."
"Good news?" They asked
"I know the exact spot we are at."
"Then why tell us the bad news is being lost?" J asked as I carefully picked up a stick that was near me.
"Because...." I began before poking a spot setting a bear trap off. "We are in the middle of a bear trap field."
"You have bear traps out here?" Rossi asked
"They've always been here. Me and Zack got lost one time and we were freaking the fuck out. And then one thing happened before I was able to work something out!"
"What was the one thing?" Spencer asked.
"I needed my brain to reboot from shock. So he shocked me! People say something that would shock me!" I told not going into detail since it seemed like a bad time to mention what exactly happened.
"I've had a very steamy dream about you!" Penelope quickly told.
"That's fair I've had one of you. Not shocking enough." I confessed.
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed.
"I'm bi! You forget this and have you seen Penelope! My god!"
"I didn't like you when we first met." J told
"Honestly I kinda thought that. Everyone think bigger!"
"I want to adopt you!" Rossi told
"Done! Something more!"
"Before we met I looked at your ass!" Derek told shocking me a little bit. "Spencer and Penelope were there, it was when we needed camera footage for the killer!"
"SPENCER!" I exclaimed
"I didn't want to talk about it!"
"Anyone else!"
"Sometimes I worry that one more traumatic experience will have you turn out like your brother." Hotch stated.
"Understandable, you guys have seen the other side of me. Growing up kinda like a hunter does that."
"Should we ask?!" Emily asked
"Best not to."
"Marry me." Spencer suddenly told making me look towards his direction.
"What?!"
"Marry me! Right here and now!" Spencer exclaimed me freeze.
"Spencer you brilliant boy!" I exclaimed back before taking the stick I had and stuck it into a bear trap so it was able to stand up straight.
I took it and reached up so I could grab ahold of the branch and pulled myself up. I began to make my way to the trunk and move across another branch. I jumped towards another branch that was out of the bear trap field and caught it, using the momentum I swung and let go landing in the clear.
"Please tell me you don't expect us to also do that." Emily told as I walked towards a branch that might be weak enough.
"No."
I quickly jumped up grabbing it and using my weight to break it. I walked back over to where it started and threw the branch down setting some off. I picked it up again and continued to do that till there was a path to them.
"Ok let's go."
"Have you thought about putting up a sign?" Derek asked.
"There was one. Obviously age has not been kind to it. I'll have Grace and Dave install another one when we get back."
"How much money do you have?" They all questioned minus Hotch making me laugh.
"I'm fecking loaded!" I told before realising. "How could I have been stupid!"
"What?" They all questioned.
"I know where we are going!" I exclaimed as I did a jump before I began to rush forward.
They quickly chased after me and I couldn't help but smile that I solved it.
"Where are we going?!" J questioned.
"To find the man you seek,
You must find the place that they meet.
From ocean to lake,
Your meeting will be fate." I repeated as I picked up speed.
"Where's that?!" They all questioned.
"I always called it Crystal lake because of how it shines in the light! It's connected to the ocean! It's where he was leading us! From ocean to lake!" I quickly explained as we all ran.
We soon slowed down when we left the woods to see the giant lake and saw it sparkle from the light that was shining upon it.
'Your meeting will be fate...... what meeting Nik?'
