"So let me get this straight.... You've been crushin' on this girl since 2006, and you two still ain't official?!" I asked as we went looking at clothes since Zack finished all he needed to do early and his bosses said he could leave early unless they really needed him back.
"I really don't know. That's like asking why we didn't date."
"Bish no it's not. We both know why we didn't date." I told making us laugh.
"I don't know really. I mean, I didn't tell her at all because of her and Shaun at the start. But then as things went on, I didn't want to ruin the friendship we had."
"Well why don't you ask her out?"
"River, you know that's not my strong suit."
"You went to Paris to spend time with her and the others. She came to Hawaii with you, and chilled helping me when none of you were around. That girl is hella strong."
"When did she help you?"
"I was having a bad dream one time while I napped and I woke up screaming and crying. You guys had gone out to get food and she came rushing in and held me while I calmed down. I freaked out because you know how I get sometimes after those dreams and she just started saying random shit."
"What things?"
"Stuff that De would say to me when I was younger. And I asked where you and the others were to which she explained you lot were still out getting food. She wouldn't have done that for someone if she didn't care. I mean, you two have kissed and often share a bed."
"Only when we have bad dreams."
"Bish that's what we said to the others and they straight up said 'You two legit think we this dumb?!' And we said yeah. But seriously though, just get her what ever flowers she likes...."
"She's actually worried about a bee being among the flowers due to her being allergic."
"Then we will get her some flowers and make sure there are no bees in it. And you give them to her, before going 'I love you bitch. I ain't never gonna stop loving you.... Bitch!' Mind you I do envision you playing a guitar for that part, which is great cause your place is covered in them."
"Those are electric."
"Then we will find a fucken amp! Honey, we gonna butter you up so much for her, you'll be able to sweet the butter for pancakes.... I could go for pancakes now."
"That doesn't sound very appealing River."
"You know what I mean. Don't make me get the others involved, they will go ham.... I'll even pull J into this."
"How did Spencer or you ask the other out?" He asked making me remember.
"I really care for you Spence. I really do."
"Then give me some sugar baby." He told as he pulled me into a kiss.
"He quoted Ash from the Evil dead and kissed me."
"Why didn't I think of that when we were younger?" He asked making me laugh.
"Shut up dude."
"Oh you should definitely get that dress. Looks good on you."
"Thanks Zackaroni. Alright let's pay for this and get food. I am hungry."
"Yes boss."
"Don't start!" I groaned before we broke out into laughter.
'He really is my best friend.'
I walked back in with the bags after dropping Zack back at the lab since one of the people he worked with were having trouble with some notes he wrote.
'Strange day it's been.'
"I'm home!" I exclaimed before walking into the lounge to see them all relaxing minus Aaron and David.
"Did you go shopping baby?" Derek asked once they saw the bags.
"Yeah."
"Without us?" They all asked minus Derek and Spencer.
"Yep. Zack got off work early and so we went shopping. We also may need to help him get with his crush, J you've already been added into the help with the boy band and Tyler."
"Awesome!" The two told as one.
"Why can't we help?" Penelope asked
"Because J has met him and knows what he is like. Also again, to do with Sniper...."
"Still wanna kick his head?" The boy band and Tyler asked.
"Always."
"Do you need like a family therapy thing?" Emily asked
"That won't work. My cousins a prick and it's why I punched him." I told before turning around. "Imma mix and match shit."
As soon as I said that all the girls rushed up and followed after.
"We wanna see the haul!" They all told making us laugh.
"I promise we will go shopping together tomorrow or even later."
"We are definitely taking you up on that offer River." J told as we headed upstairs.
