But sometimes when people need to heal away from others, it's hurts the ones closest to them. For example, while the girl is getting better.... the one she loves is in her place, watching old tapes of her..... because to him...... it feels like she's still there with him.

(Spencer p.o.v)

"Guys guys. Ok me and Zack wrote a song."
"We spent half an hour on it."
"Why do the have a guitar?" Vix asked
"That's why it took half an hour." They both told.
"This should be amusing." Tim added
Her and Zack looked towards each other and gave a nod before River counted down. She played the guitar somewhat well before they both began to scream.
"I like." Joe told
"How are they the smartest in the group yet act dumber then us?" Vix added
"Oh god. What if we are making them dumber?" Tim questioned
"That is not possible."
"This is why he takes forensic anthropology and I do what I do in that class."
"She keeps suggesting I apply to the Jeffersonian for the program." He told as he walked over to one of the seats.
"Why don't you?" Joe asked
"Because I won't get in."
"He is also not old enough to yet. But I know he will get in."
"How do you know Rio? I mean you've never applied."
"Zaddy has a point."
"How do you know?" Vix added.
"I haven't applied cause I'm not sure what I'll do with my life any more. Besides bone forensic anthology isn't my calling, where it is for you."
"But River, I just don't see a point in it."
"Because they allow recommendations."
"And?" They all asked
"Zack you are the brightest student in that class. If anyone was going to work under the dr.Brennan then it will be you."
"What does that have to do with recommendations?"
"Because I asked, and they said that you can give a recommendation with you application. You following now?"
"You would do that.... for me?"
"When you are of age, yes. I want you to succeed, I want you all to succeed. Because your my family, and I love you all."
"And we love you as well." They told before giving her a hug.
"You know, life is peculiar." She told making them pull apart.
"How so?" Vix asked
"We all are strange. But we always find someone who is happy by our strangeness."
"She's been reading a lot of philosophical books in her spare time."
"It's an interesting subject Mr.Addy."
"That it is Miss. Finley."
"I love it when you two go all professional. Very cute." Tim told making her and Zack roll their eyes.
"Maybe that's why they are dating." Joe told making Tim and Vix hit the back of his head.
"They aren't dating dumbass." Vix stated
"Why not? They are suited for the other."
"Because of how they met. They were just lucky enough to be roommates."
"My my we are a strange group."
"But you say strange is the best."
"That I do Mr.Addy."

I stopped the tape on her smile and rested my head on the back of her couch.
"When will you come back River?"
My phone began to ring making me grab it to see Penelope was calling. I picked it up and held it to my ear.
"Hey Spencer. How ya feeling?"
"Same old same old. Just watching some tapes."
"Spencer, you've probably watched them all by now."
"I found a bunch of them in the hallway closet, so I still have a lot to go through."
"Well I have a surprise for you?"
"Yeah?"
"Yep. I'm coming up the stairs of your building, so which place are you at?"
"Hers."
"Well open the door cause I'm walking towards it now." She told before hanging up.
I got up from my seat and walked to the door. By the time I opened it Penelope was standing here with a bunch of food.
"I come baring gifts." She told as she showed the overfull basket of goods.
"Thanks Penelope. You wanna come in?"
"If your ok with it..... I wanna see her place and look at all the pictures and snow globes she has. I think it might help me miss her less."
"It helps me." I told making her give a smile.
She came in and I shut the door before we both sat back down on the couch.
"What's this one about?"
"At first it started off as her and Zack creating a song which was just them screaming. Then it turned into her trying to convince him to apply to the Jeffersonian, when he was of age. Then it was them being their normal self. Have you found her yet?"
"No not yet. Her phone has been off since she left the airport..... but I found out she is safe."
"How?"
"I was talking to Joe and asked if she was with them since they helped a lot in uni when she was having what Dic calls a sad time. And he said they are. She's safe." She told making me smile.
"Thank god. Not knowing if she was truely safe or not was the worse for me." I told
"Same as well."
"Thank you Penelope."
"She's family. We'd do anything for our special girl."
"That we will."
'I hope your ok River.'
