Meiqi and her manager finally arrived at TF Entertainment's building. Meiqi got out of the car and looked up at the building. Wow. It's so much taller than what it looks like in pictures. I can't believe I actually got signed to be a trainee for one of the biggest companies... why me? She asked herself.
A man came running out, "Hello it's so great to finally meet you guys!!!. Welcome to the family Meiqi"
Meiqi had no idea who this man was but politely nodded and said thank you. After a further look, she realized he looked familiar. Hm... where was he from. OH TNT's manager. No wonder he looked so familiar.
Thirty seconds passed before Meiqi heard a group of boys laughing and chasing each other down the stairs. The first one stops abruptly right when he sees Meiqi, causing the rest of TNT to bump into each other.
Meiqi took a squint to see who it was. She had really bad eyesight, and it didn't help that she didn't sleep enough last night, so her night contacts barely worked.
Oh, it's Ma Jiaqi. Meiqi and Jiaqi had actually met each other many years ago on a competition show for kids that wanted to become singers/idols. He had won first that year, and she had remembered him since.
I wonder if he remembers me... nevermind. Meiqi, don't be stupid; of course he doesn't remember you. Jiaqi had a rather interesting interaction with Meiqi back then. Meiqi was extremely introverted back then and even now. It was even worse when she was a kid though. She was so shy to the point that she cried when teachers forced her to reply to them when she was on the show.
She remembered him so clearly because Jiaqi came over with tissues after and told her it would be fine. "Hey it's ok, the teachers just want an answer, nothing to be scared of". He ended up sitting with her for a while, and though he never asked for her name, she remembered him for his kindness and of course because he had won.
She had watched him debut in TYT, participate in Typhoon Projects, and finally debut in TNT. She secretly admired him a lot, only a year older than her, but he had managed to achieve so much already.
