Members went downstairs for breakfast as usual that morning.

"What the heck. Why is Zheng Ge sleeping with Ding Ge", Yaowen asked.

"Why does everyone like sleeping on the rock-hard couch", Yaxuan asked.

Zhengyuan and Chengxin woke up from the commotion. "Holy shit dude, my back" Zhengyaun said groaning. "I'm never sleeping with you again".

"Why are you sleeping there Zhengyuan?" Haoxiang asked. "Also where is Jiaiqi? I can't find him anywhere. We gotta go"

"He didn't come home", Zhengyuan and Chengxin replied in unison. "What?? Then where is he sleeping??, dude's homeless without our house", Junlin said. Zhengyuan and Chengxin looked at each other debating on whether to explain the situation or not but they decide to keep silent for now.

"Oh my god!! Ding Ge, your eyes!", Yaxuan exclaimed. He ran up and took a picture to show Chengxin. Chengxin's eyes were so swollen that he could barely open them, it was from all the crying. "Dude... how are you going to go to practice like that, can you even see?", Zhengyuan commented. Chengxin waved them off. "It's fine, I'll wear sunglasses. Let's go we're late".

Everyone grabbed their stuff and left for practice.

Chengxin went to find Jackson as usual for practice for Manta. It was T-3 days till the performance. The moment Chengxin opened the door Jackson's eyes widen. Chengxin put up a hand signaling him to stop. "I know I know, you don't need to say anything. I have sunglasses for a reason", he said putting them on.

Jackson wanted to ask what happened but he could kind of guess. "Where's Meiqi?", Jackson asked. Chengxin didn't have the energy to explain so he just shrugged. An hour had passed, it was 10 am now. "She's late again??", Jackson was getting annoyed with this lateness. Just at that moment, Meiqi burst in with Jiaqi following her.

"I'm so sorry.", she exclaimed. Jiaqi was holding her hand but she quickly let go. Jackson had already seen it and glanced at Chengxin to see his reaction. But he was rather calm, it seemed like he already knew what was going on. Jackson let out a tsk, "This can't keep happening", he said in a stern tone.

"I know I'm really sorry", Meiqi said. She glanced at Chengxin to see him wearing sunglasses. There's no sun in here, she thought to herself.

"Let's get started."

Practice went by as usual. Chengxin had actually kept himself in a very professional manner. Did all the moves needed in the dance but nothing more. He knew what he should and shouldn't do, after all, Meiqi had made her choice. Chengxin flung his head a little too hard, and his sunglasses flew off. Meiqi gasped, "Your eyes, are they ok? Do you have allergies?", she asked.

Jackson muttered, "You're the one he's allergic to". Chagrin had heard but thankfully Meiqi didn't. Jackson couldn't help but feel for Chengxin. After all, liking someone was hard enough, seeing the person you like like your best friend was even worse. Chengxin shot him a look and Jackson stopped.

"Ok, that's it for today. You're dismissed.", he said turning to Chengxin. "Meiqi stay behind". Chengxin left the room without saying anything. Now that it was only Jackson and Meiqi in the room Jackson got serious. "Look, I don't care about what's going on between you, Chengxin, and Jiaqi. Whatever you do is on your time is your choice, but what you do during my class time affects me. Not only me but your partner as well. This is the second day you've been late. I don't want to see this happen again tomorrow, you know the performance is only 3 days away right?".

Meiqi gulped. Usually, when Jackson was stern at least Chengxin was next to her but this time he wasn't. She nodded. "On time tomorrow. 9 am". She nodded again.

"Dismissed"

Meiqi left and went to find Jiaqi. She was going to have practice with him later but she wanted to see him before it.

"Haoxiang, have you seen Jiaqi?", Meiqi asked. He pointed to the office, "Fei ge called him into the office". Meiqi nodded and waited outside the room.

".... round them up, I need to tell all of them". Jiaqi nodded and left the room.

Jiaqi smiled when he saw Meiqi waiting outside. "Miss me already?", he teasingly said. Meiqi blushed, "Noo I was just standing there. It was just a coincidence".

"Ok yea sure, whatever you want. We need to get everyone. Fei Ge said he has an important announcement to make". "About what", Meiqi asked. "I have no clue. He didn't say".

Jiaqi ran down the hall. "GUYS FEI GE IS CALLING US. Everyone needs to go to the auditorium". "For what", Yaowen and Yaxuan asked in unison. "I don't know, he just said big announcement". Jiaqi went to knock on the practice room with Jackson in it. Even TFBoys had to be there for the announcement which meant it must be something important.

Everyone finally gathered around. "I wonder what Fei Ge is going to tell us. Feel like nothing good ever happens when he does this", Junlin whispered to Haoxiang. Haoxiang agreed.

Fei Ge tapped into the mic on stage. "Ok everyone sit down. I have important news to tell. I think a couple of you guys saw on Weibo the other day that we were taking in another female trainee and you guys didn't know if the rumor was true or not."

"Oh yea, I remember seeing that. Everyone said it was just to give TF Ent more publicity", Jackson said to Chengxin.

Fei Ge continued. "Well the rumor is true. We do have another female trainee. And she will be joining us today." Commotion was stirring. "Another female trainee? We're about to start having generations of female trainees", Yaxuan commented.

"Come on out", Fei Ge waved his hand at the trainee. She entered onto stage and everyone started talking. "What is she doing here", Yaxuan whispered to Yaowen. "Dude what the hell!!", Yaowen said.

"Bro she's back omg", Jackson said, turning to Chengxin. "Holy shit...", Chengxin said. Meiqi was confused as to why there was so much commotion, were they that excited for another female trainee? Meiqi took a look at the girl and she realized she looked kind of familiar. She squinted a little harder, wait... the girl looked like the person that had brought Meiqi to Jiaqi yesterday. She's also a trainee? Meiqi looked around confused.

Everyone seemed to know who she was, so was she not new? "Yu Yan... ", Jiaqi said calling out her name. His expression was something she had never seen before. So Meiqi was right, it was the same girl that had brought her to the rooftop. Meiqi turned around and wanted to ask Yaxuan what was going on. Before she was able to ask though she heard Haoxiang say something to Junlin. "I can't believe she's back. After all that with Jiaqi, she still chose to be with our company. She's crazy."

"Why is she back?", Roy asked Karry. Karry leaned forward to talk to Jackson, "Dude what the hell is going on. Is Fei Ge out of his mind."

Meiqi couldn't resist anymore. "Can someone tell me what's going on?", she asked to no one specific. Jiaqi was still staring at Yu Yan while the members were busy talking to each other. Chengxin noticed Meiqi's rather confused expression but there was also a slight discomfort shown in her expression.

"You'll find out later", he whispered to her.

"Oh ok", she said nodding back.

"Everyone, let's welcome Yu Yan. I know you guys are familiar with her. She's finally back!! Let's give her a big round of applause".

TFBoys and TNT clapped. They were all too shocked to say anything else.
