"You know this might sound really bizarre, but I feel like I've seen you somewhere before. And no, it's not from your dance videos."
Does Jiaqi actually remember who I am, Meiqi thought.
"Then from where?", asked Meiqi.
"I don't know. My memory isn't the best, but I feel like I might have met you if I was younger", said Jiaqi with furrowed brows. He was thinking hard of where he could have possibly seen Meiqi before.
"That's funny. Imagine we've actually met before", replied Meiqi. She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell him she was that girl that cried many years ago. Would he even remember?
"Yea.. maybe I'm just confusing you with someone else. Sorry bout that"
Meiqi paused and thought for a second but finally decided to tell Jiaqi. Not like she was going to keep it in forever anyways.
"You know I actually met you when we were younger. That might have been why you think I look familiar."
"Wait really??!! Why didn't you tell me earlier!! Did you realize ever since you were going to join our company", asked Jiaqi. So I'm not crazy after all, thought Jiaqi.
Meiqi was just about to reply when the door opened. Yaxuan came running in with Yaowen. "Ma Ge, it's time to go to vocal class".
"Coming!" Jiaqi turned to Meiqi, "Tell me later".
"Tell you what later", asked Yaowen.
"Our secret haha", said Jiaqi as he ran out the door.
"TELL MEEEE", said Yaowen as he chased Jiaqi down the hall. "I want to know too", chanted Yaxuan.
The rest of the day consisted of Chengxin and Meiqi learning the first part of the dance. They both seemed to have gotten quiet after their awkward interaction in the morning and during dance. Meiqi preferred this anyway.

Knock Knock
"Guys, we're done for today. Manager said not to train too hard for Meiqi's first day", said Junlin as he entered in with the rest of TNT.
"Oh it's ok. I feel fine though", replied Meiqi.
"You can practice more tomorrow. Manager, said they prepared k-bbq for you for dinner", said Jiaqi with a smile.
"Ok let's wrap it up then. See you guys tomorrow", said Jackson.
They headed downstairs to wait for the car. Meiqi didn't realize how drastic the temperature changes were in Beijing. When they had left for practice, it was already 80 degrees and went up to 93 later in the day. But now that it was night, it went back down to 70s and with the wind, Meiqi was honestly shivering. All she wore was a t-shirt. She stood there with her teeth chattering until Jiaqi noticed.
"Hey, are you cold?", asked Jiaqi.
"Uh yea kind of. I didn't know it would get this cold at night, or else I would have worn more", replied Meiqi.
Jiaqi proceeded to take off his hoodie to give to Meiqi. "Oh no it's ok I'm fine". Meiqi thought it was rather weird to wear someone else's clothes. Especially from another guy. "Clearly, you're not fine. Just take it or else you're gonna get sick", said Jiaqi as he proceeded to hang his hoodie to Meiqi.
"What about you though?"
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine. I am a strong healthy man", said Jiaqi jokingly flexing his muscles.
"Stop pretending, you have no muscles", chimed in Zhengyuan. "Do you want mine instead. I'm healthier than Jiaqi". This ended in a spiral with everyone besides Chengxin trying to give their hoodie to Meiqi. Chengxin would have offered, but the awkwardness was still in the air from earlier.
Everyone hungrily ate dinner, including Meiqi. That bento box was not enough for hours of dance. "Let's play a game later. We haven't been able to interact much with Meiqi", said Junlin.
Games? Meiqi disliked playing games and usually avoided it if she could. Plus, she was really tired from today. "Sorry, but can we do it another time? I'm kind of tired of today...", said Meiqi as her voice trailed off. She usually didn't like to give any opinions but today was an exhausting day for her.
"Let's do it on the day we throw a party!", said Yaxuan. "We wanted to make a celebration for you, for finally joining our family".
Parties. Meiqi didn't like those either, but she knew she couldn't keep declining them, plus they were just trying to make her feel comfortable. She gave a slight nod in agreement.
"YAYYY PARTY", yelled Yaowen. "Let's do it this Saturday then. We can prepare good food and games".
"Sounds good I'll tell man- acho* acho* achoo* tell manag- achoo achooo. Manager.", said Jiaqi as he sniffled.
"Are you ok, you sound sick", said Chengxin.
"Nah I'm fine", said Jiaqi as he brushed it off.
"I bet it's because he gave his hoodie to Meiqi. Told you, you shouldn't have done that. You ain't healthy at all", said Zhengyuan.
Jiaqi rolled his eyes. "Guys, I'm fine. Seriously. And stop trying to make Meiqi feel bad".
Meiqi could already feel the guilt crawling inside her. She really hoped she didn't get Jiaqi sick...
