"Ok everyone sit down", said TNT's manager. Meiqi found herself to be the last to enter and coincidently ended up right next to Jiaqi.

"Rock paper scissor rock paper scissor. HAHA I WIN I'm sitting next to Meiqi", said Yaowen as Yaxuan lost to him. He happily ran over to sit next to Meiqi. Yaxuan let out a pout. Cute kids, Meiqi thought to herself. They reminded her of little brothers that she would have loved to have, but she was an only child.

"Meiqi, we officially welcome you to the family."

WOOOO cheered TNT

"As tradition, we always ask our new trainees to perform something for us. What would you like to perform."

WHAT, Meiqi was not informed of this, nor had she prepared anything. Panic aroused across her face as she thought of what she should perform.

"It doesn't need to be anything amazing. When we entered as trainees Yaxuan and Yaowen sang twinkle twinkle little stars", said Jiaqi.

Meiqi subtly turned to Yaowen to see that his ears had turned bright red. "MA GE, you're not supposed to tell people that".

Jiaqi let out a chuckle and gave Meiqi a reassuring smile.

A million songs and dances ran through Meiqi's head, and she finally thought of something she could perform.

"Flammable and Explosive" (易燃易爆炸)

This was one of Meiqi's favorite songs, but she had never performed it in front of others before. Because people thought she could only dance, she rarely sang, not for her internet fans at least. She had seen the performance with YWY contestants and fell in love with it. Guess it's time to show a different side of myself, thought Meiqi.

爱我纯粹还爱我赤裸不靡颓

看我自弹自唱还看我痛心断肠

与我出奔还与我做不二臣

夸我含苞待放还夸我欲盖弥彰

Meiqi reached the climax of the song and sang her heart out on the highest note. TNT members looked at her shocked; they didn't know she could sing. At least not this well. Everyone stared at her with their mouth open in an O-shaped form.

Deng Chengxin POV

Chengxin stared at Meiqi in awe. He had watched many of her dance covers before but had never heard her sing. Coincidentally, Flammable and Explosive was also Chengxin's favorite song. Though he didn't have enough power to sing the very high notes, he still enjoyed it a lot and sang it despite his voice cracking every time. What a good addition to our TF family, he thought to himself. Maybe Jiaqi was right; maybe he could finally find his dance partner for his upcoming performance.

Meiqi finished her off the last part of the song, and TNT erupted in applause. WOOO "Meiqi, we didn't know you could sing like that", said Junlin. "Encore encore encore", they chanted. Meiqi decided to dance this time since it was her specialty after all.

"I'll dance to WayV's Kick Back then", said Meiqi.

She was a bit anxious since this was the first time she was dancing in front of people outside of a stage performance, but there's a first for everything, she thought to herself. This time was going to come sooner or later anyways.

Music played, and Meiqi flawlessly performed the dance, getting more cheers from TNT. "MEIQI YOU'RE SO COOL", said Yaowen. "In my next life, I'm definitely going to be a girl so I can be as cool as you." Meiqi let out a laugh.

"Wow Meiqi, looks like we didn't make the wrong choice taking you in. You're going to make it far with your abilities. Everyone, let's go have dinner and go back to the dorms so Meiqi can rest. Tomorrow is her first day of official training", said TNT's manager.
